What Chapter is your most favorite so far?

Since the announcement of Blackwood, I've been curious what chapter has stick out the most for everyone out there? Be it combat, world design, lore, story, balance, new features, or whatever!

Personally, it would be Summerset (followed by Elsweyr) because the art designs of the flora and architecture are beautifully done and the amount of new lore really adds to the complexity of an already richly detailed universe. But that can be said with every expansion regarding lore. Anyways, adventuring with my all-time favorite companions, that being Razum-dar and Darien really sealed the deal for me, and exploring something that doesn't appeal to my nostalgia is nice! So, there! :)

All the zones were great in its own way, but Summerset really resonated with me how well a zone can be made!

Wrothgar gets an honorable mention because it being part of our subscription plan at the time, which makes it the the most content packed DLC to date that is NOT a chapter. Plus the story was amazing, even if orcs are my least favorite race. :D

Edit: I included Wrothgar because it checks off everything that would make it a chapter had ZOS rolled with this design approach at the time Wrothgar was made. I know it's a DLC, but it's the unofficial chapter! xD

    Summerset
Summerset was easily my favourite. Still the most beautiful zone they’ve ever added, no huge game altering nerfs or controversy with the chapter, jewellery crafting and psijic skill line were superb additions to the game and even though I don’t really like questing all that much, the main quest for Summerset was actually quite fun!

    Summerset
Summerset is both my favorite and most hated. For a lot of us DC folks, we really liked Darien during our journeys through the DC storyline. Then, he poofed. We talked about his lady friend, Gabrielle, every time she popped up, because she was still searching for him, too. Then, one day, he pops up, in Summerset story line... then, gets yanked right back away.

Meanwhile, Razum Dar keeps showing up, over and over... swear, the Devs are AD fans and hate the rest of us =/

If Wrothgar were a Chapter...but its not. Its the DLC that ZOS wishes had been the first Chapter.

My favorite Chapter is Summerset. As the climax to the Daedric Triad arc, it's a big story, but it also has a solid supporting cast of characters that doesn't wholly rely on returning "fan favorites" to chivvy the player along and get them invested in the plot. Finally, Summerset really benefitted from being part of a full story arc, rather than the weird chronology of later Chapters that are forced into the 2 Dungeon -> Prologue -> Chapter storyline that still has to start new players at the Chapter tutorial.

    I will probably say Elsweyr.

I was here at launch, but started to dip our around the time of Morrowind, and basically missed Summerset entirely. But when Elsweyr launched, I came back so I could make my Necromancer. So I got a necro class in Elsweyr, and I have a personal sense of nostalgia towards Elsweyr since it was the zone I was in during my return, going through my n00b phase for a 2nd time.

    Morrowind
Orsinium wasnt chapter. I liked it quite a bit and its possibly my favorite DLC up to date.

If I would rank chapters it would be
    1. Morrowind
    2. Elsweyr
    3. Summerset
    4. Greymoor

Morrowind had new class, new PvP mode and most nostalgia value for me.
Elsweyr was intresting, it was done much better than I expected, also had new class.
Summerset was a letdown, instead of what I expected lorewise we got some disney castles that I would never associate with high elves. Jewelrycrafting was good addition and psijic skill line was ok, despite the fact that grind is unreal.
Greymoor - more like greypoor. I didnt like antiquarian minigames that remind me of 2010 mobile phone games. Grind is beyond all expectations and I cant say I enjoyed any aspect of latest chapter.

Based on what we know about 2021 addition to chapters, I would be surprised if this years one would not be placed even below Greymoor. I simply aint fond of companion system in any MMO, and since we dont get new weapon skill line, new guild, new class, pvp mode or similar, at least for me, new chapter has no real fluff to it.
    Awake, but at what cost

    Morrowind
    Morrowind > Elsweyr > Summerset > Greymoor > Blackwood

Blackwood last you may ask? How could I know? Easy, by looking at the features it has to offer: none. I can already tell you that it’ll be my least favorite Chapter. Greymoor comes next because it has the same problem as Blackwood, but at least had mythics for some kind of progression. Companions will be utterly useless though and don’t even work in PvP.

    Morrowind
Morrowind, Summerset, Elsweyr, Greymoor and Blackwood.

Mostly because of what those chapters offered and quest design.

Also older trials seem to be much better than the newer ones in combat design.

Greymoor was so hyped yet failed miserably. A year-long bug fest which took ages to fix and it offered nothing. Poor quest design, decent trial with horrible loot, excellent looking landscape and antiquities - not worth the price though.

Blackwood has generated even less hype and has so far offered nothing but a npc. I have all my faith on the trial and good gear from there but we'll see.

    Elsweyr
Elsweyr is the only one I've even managed to complete the story for.

Morrowind is weirdly nonlinear and requires ping ponging back and forth across the map, Summerset is just slow/boring, and I don't have Greymoor (although it doesn't really sound like anything special).

    Summerset
The Morrowind->Clockwork City->Summerset story line was simply fantastic. I am giving the nod to Summerset because it not only concluded nicely, but it also brought back Darien in a way that did not feel forced, and the zone just looked amazing.

It was a really hard call. I love Elsweyr but Summerset had great storyline too and Greymoor had lots of fun things. Morrowind is beautiful and well done but a little short. Wrothgar was great, it's a long while since I went there, hopefully soon again with an alt.

    Summerset
Darien is okay, and Razum-Dar is always a pleasure, but the arc of Valsirenn and Leythen really made this story tug at my heartstrings. I also thought the setting had a good mix of high fantasy and otherworldliness, which we've been moving away from ever since. Oh, and that tower lore! Mwah!

I don't like relying on non-linear Oblivion time to explain the story if you play the Daedric Triad DLC out of order, though, but nobody's perfect.

I would have put Wrothgar first until I got hit with the relic hunter bug .... 4 months of bugging ZOS on every channel I could think of only to get the "We are sorry, your problem can't be fixed, but our devs are working on it. stay tuned..."

Really? ... "working on it?' ... If you believe that I have a bridge to sell you. How long has this bug been going on? ... No relic hunter achievement means no Hero of Wrothgar achievement which means no wolf costumes.

    Yeah ... bite me ZOS.

Put Wrothgar on the bottom of any list here ... not for the story line, but for the lousy support/commitment to make it work correctly.
Fix Wrothgar Relic Hunter for Pete's Sake! ... Until then ... ZOS=POS

    I have some issues.

Summerset - I could never get past the part with "killing" the pearls in the sinkhole. Val was useless, and high ping caused me so much grief.

Wrothgar - I couldn't get anywhere close to killing whatever his name was - seriously, for someone with mega ping (yeah, I know it's a meme by this time *SIGH*) killing that "mini boss" simply was not possible for me.

And yes, I voted Elsweyr. But my GODDESSES - the Kaalgrontiid fight was.... totally UNFUN. I have never spent a more miserable couple of hours in my entire gaming life - which started in 1985.... Oh sure, I got the whole "Tharn shield" thing - but satellite ping means I'm not always "alive" when I think I am.....

I really don't want to consider the end boss fight in S Elsweyr. I'm - probably going to have to beg help from friends.... And I STILL haven't figured out how to do the requisite dungeon in N Elsweyr to open up the final part of the Lunar Hall.

    *SIGH*

Elsweyr was the chapter that truly got me into the game for its focus on khajiit and lore. Before this game was seriously on the back burner.
That one khajiit obsessed with werewolf behemoth and vampire lord. Lady Thorn is bae, dont @ me.
    Werewolf behemoth=vampire lord>blood scion>werewolf>vampire.

    Elsweyr
I voted Elsweyr because I like the Necro class quite a bit, I LOVE 💘 ❤ ♥ 💕 😍 💗 the fact that there is above ground fence to sell things too, my absolute favorite collectable furnishing is the dragonhoard, and the storyline was quite fun. Getting to fight dragons again was cool too, though I wish they'd nerf the N. Elysweyr ones to account for the fact that less people use the zone now. Elsweyr is just a very solid expansion for me. The alfiq are adorable!

Summerset is also fantastic and if I could have picked a tie between the two, I would have. I like Jewelry crafting and the Psijic order skills. The quest was memorable and touching. And the scenery and furnishing was and is still the prettiest furning in the game. Love it.

Morrowind is okay. I like it but it didn't really impress that much. The trial is one of the more annoying trials in the game. The story was solid though.

Wrothgar wasn't memorable for me. The arena is a good challenge but the zone itself is dull looking to me as are the collectibles. The story is great at least. King Kurog and Eveli are both awesome.

Greymoor has one of my favorite npcs ever, Fennorian. And the antiquity system and VH are both great fun. I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter a lot, and the furnishings are gorgeous. And that quest with Sai and Lyris is sooo cute. I think is one of the best additions to the game, but the performance issues that plagued it's release kind of negatively impacted my view of the overall quality of it's release. I'll probably like this one more in time.
