✭✭✭✭✭The Restoration Staff of Cyrodiil's Ward was inexplicably added to the Item Set Collection system in Update 29 PTS 1.
This item is not present on the Update 28 Live server, since it's a ranged weapon for a set with a melee proc condition. The other ranged weapons of this set are still correctly omitted. It's just the resto that has somehow escaped from its prison cell.Nightfighters ― PC/NA and PC/EU

Winterborn
(2 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
(3 items) Adds 129 Magicka Recovery
(4 items) Adds 129 Spell Damage
(5 items) When you deal Frost Damage, you summon an ice pillar that deals 7400 Frost Damage to all enemies in a 3 meter radius. The ice pillar persists for 2 seconds and reduces the Movement Speed of all enemies within the radius by 50%. This effect can occur once every 6 seconds.0 -

I can confirm this. This is also the case on live. It also does not proc from chilled status effects, which are frost damage too.Auri-El is my lord,

This set did not appear to increase the tooltip damage of my AoE skills.
I slotted all possible AoE skills from both weapons and class.
I'm not good at LA weaving, so I try to maximize AoE damage and support skills.
Any ideas on the best way to test this set?0 -

I tested it with the Assault skill Vigor, and it seemed to work for me.0 -
SHOW✭✭✭These aren't sets but prob the same root cause as Oblivion's Foe and Wild Impulse:
The DOT from Fire Ballista breaks cloak.
(maybe cold fire too? I'll prob be able to confirm later tonight via death recap lol)
The DOT from keep/resource guards break cloak too.

✭✭✭✭✭The taunt from the Tormentor set does not work with Sorcerer Streak. It is supposed to taunt enemies damaged by a charge, leap or teleport ability. Streak clearly is a teleport (pretty much the only one in the game, unless you consider teleport strike a teleport instead of a charge), though damaging enemies with it, will not proc this set.
Proof that it is intended to work with Streak, is that Unleashed Terror has the same proc conditions and it does proc its damage over time effect when damaging enemies with Streak.

Apparently this went live and currently (as of 28th Oct) are in live.
