Thoughts on the Mad Alchemist Furnishing pack?

I really love the look of the furnishings & think they have a lot of potential use in my modern gothic vampire themed custom structure house I'm working on.

The Bloodknight target dummy is nice too, but the four vats (& one duplicate) look almost indistinguishable from each other.

I'm not sure it's really worth 3500 crowns. What do you think?

Big items can be good for filling a lot of space in houses, but there aren't very many items in this pack for that many crowns. I dunno, I'm still weighing it myself.

    I'm debating getting a second pack. >_>

That said, I really was surprised by how large the vats are.

I think it looks really neat, and kind of a niche theme, but I won't spend 3500 crowns on that. Wayy too much! Wish the mannequin was sold separately though.

The Bloodknight was a must for my Bastion, he stands out front being angry and guarding the place from those pesky grey host aligned Vampires.

I'm still thinking about it, I think my biggest hangup is that the vats, like you say, really all look the same

I can't really justify $30+ dollars for some red tubes.

I think it's a lot the same but I was thinking maybe to split the pack up and use some pieces in different homes as general alchemy items rather than vampiric. They seem quite versatile and you can probably put stuff inside the glass. I'm undecided on whether or not to buy because I like it but have so many other things I want or am going to want in future.

I love the bloodknight look. I would have purchased the pack just for him alone. I wish the ultimate vampire ability would look like it... please zos give us a bloodknight polimorph!

I like the look of Bloodknight (mostly his teeth and his armor), but - at least on PTS - it was making annoying noices and screaming very often. I totally disliked that, so I wouldn't buy and use this item on live even if it was selling separately :/

This one likes it for what it is. Fits in with my vampiric pack. Someone has to continue Arkasis' work.
That one khajiit obsessed with werewolf behemoth and vampire lord. Lady Thorn is bae, dont @ me.
    Werewolf behemoth=vampire lord>blood scion>werewolf>vampire.

Interesting pack, would be cool to place organic structures in the tanks.
The tubes have an odd silvery finish in the preview, they don't have the nice red hue that was shown in the advertisement.

Can't experience the actual look in my own home, don't want to risk the disappointment for so many crowns

    Way overpriced.

Have it anyway because I'm a sucker for things that glow. Using some of the pieces to simulate a system of boilers and tubes that feeds my transmute station. Thinking of filling the vacant vats with Remnant of the False Tower pieces so I have crystals floating in there.

I wish all the containers were empty. I'm not a fan of animal cruelty. I'll use those pieces as lighting implements rather than having them prominently displayed.

Love the root ones. Blorp blorp wiggle wiggle.

Hate the dummy. He grunts and yells and licks his lips when I hit him. I'll stick to my Wraith of Crows. He looks ridiculous but keeps it civil.

A bit disappointed, have seen a lot of smaller vampire lab equipment around markarth and was hoping for a bit of that to show up. The items are cool but just not what i was hoping for.

Animal Cruelty? these are alchemically created creatures, it is not like he threw a bristleback in a test tube.

Way, way, overpriced. $35 for some red tubes, when I can buy a whole game for that price. I really wish they'd embrace the idea of 'people buy a lot of stuff when it's a dollar or two, and not much at 30 bucks.'

If you could have a character makeover token for two or three bucks, instead of ten? I'd probably buy one a month. As it is I buy none a month.

I needed these as my alchemy lab was too big to fill with smaller containers.

🤔 Is that right? I must not have paid enough attention to the quest. I'll have to run it again on a different toon.

Disclaimer: I'm not morally opposed to the furnishings. They are just slightly too macabre looking for my decorating tastes.

Thanks all for the replies :)

I still think it was overpriced but caved & bought it anyway.

Have so far only used one piece in my vampiric dark elf blood bed (WIP) but have some ideas on what I'll use the rest for & am glad I got the pack.
