Can't launch game. "Patch required, please download and install" error - but no patch is available?

So here's a new one.
Just turned on my Xbox and tried to start eso and got that error message.
I noticed it patching when my Xbox first started but then it was done after a few seconds, except now the game won't start and I keep getting that error message. Xbox is telling me there's nothing that needs updating and no updates available.
So uh, anyone have any idea what's going on?

Tabatha✭✭✭Holy Crud, I was thinking cool ZOS is fixing the game. Nope broke it more.
XBox NA cant log in patch required error message. My patch is complete and I restarted the Xbox, still a no go.
Same for my Alt account and my man - also on Xbox NA0 -

Game crashed, game updated, now cant play. Whatever that 800mb update is the problem. Was playing fine all day1 -

Crashed in a dungeon, tried to restart the game and it required a 860mb patch.
After the patch finished, game starts to initial screen but then won't go to the login screen with "Patch Required"

Rynd33✭✭✭Just finished downloading the patch and am getting the patch required error. What really infuriates me is the loss of time and opportunity. I have three kids and rarely have more than an hour or two to play. My family is doing an online event tonight and for the first time all year I have the whole night to myself to play eso and this happens. How do they compensate me for that? This is time I can't get back.2
