Can't launch game. "Patch required, please download and install" error - but no patch is available?

I really hope you can hotfix this prior to day's end, or extend the event by a day for us so we can get our tickets. Or add 3 tix to our accounts, tho I'd still be missing an opal page.1 -
SerraKBella✭✭✭My third try to log-in the message came up "an internal error...", then on the fourth try it went back to the "must download patch..", but maybe they are making progress. Fingers crossed, they fix it soon.0 -

Android_Archer✭✭✭Was trying to check a members status in roster. Got booted when I opened the enter text window to search for them. IMMEDIATELY CANCELLED the patch that began to run, since I knew what that would lead to.
However, cancelling the patch was even worse because, NOW I'm having to completely re-install the game!!! Even just a few MBs running before the cancel, was enough to convince the system that ESO is no longer installed!!!!!
So, 800+MB of a patch to break your game and prevent log in or, cancel it and have to completely re-install 77.29GB to likely have that game F'd up by the very same patch you tried to avoid.
You never fail to set the bar lower, ZOS.4 -

Got this after installing the patch, and I uninstalled and reinstalled the whole game and still have the same error.
Xbox Series X on NA server, if that helps...0 -

Know that I am sitting back with a bag of popcorn, watching as ESO burns the goodwill of its player base with practices that only disrespects the players time like it did to me and many others...
If a game does not respect your time, best thing to do is move on from it and find something else.0 -

Now we can't even play after a measly 900 MB update.
Can we all just realize it's time to quit this game since it's obvious no one cares about the players who have invested our time and money into this, that we EASILY could have invested elsewhere?
