In my opinion, too many "nodes" or spots can be exploited and so farmers and "power levelers" have it too easy.
Example :
- resource nodes could be more random, spawn less often, be less predictable
- boss farming should not be possible (won't name one of the thousands of options named by the community)
- etc.

This is like asking "..but is Everyone in town a gold spammer, guys?"While i have seen a few suspicious behaviour next to bosses, where are all these bots, guys?
Is it a matter of server? On the EU server we arent overrun by bots.
Back on OP, bots will always be around! Look at WoW, 10 years later and still has problems with bots in pvp/pve. Its a never ending cycle that we the people have to help fight ourselves, alongside ZOS.
Here's what you do. Instead of trying to use class skills, everyone equip a dagger (fastest swing time of all weapons). Stand where boss spawns, swing endlessly. You may not do much damage, but you will get a hit in, enough to register for the quest. They are game breakers in the dungeons with quests that expect you the player to actually hit/kill the boss and you can't for the bots.

How would you like to be banned because someone said you were botting, and provided little to no information that said otherwise. This isn't like getting rid of gold farmers, it takes time.
Am I PAID by Zenimax to do this? No! Zenimax should be policing this. Go troll somewhere else.
Someone posts their opinion and they're trolling all the sudden? One thing I'm getting sick of is being called a fanboy & a troll because we tend to backup ZOS when people come out and cry over something that THE PLAYERS need to take a stand against. /report is all you have to do and it takes less than a minute, but no, you don't "get paid" to do that.
That's your problem then, not ZOS, because like every job, not everybody can do every single thing with the flip of a switch. Us sending in reports is what helps the community out, and if you cant take a second to help the community out, then why are you here whining in the first place.
Your not even doing your part to make this game a better place, but you will sit around and cry about it, huh?
Just because ZOS doesnt inform you guys about what is going on, does NOT mean things arent happening. Oh but wait, i guess I'm a fanboy and im trolling now, and my opinion is bleak.
Then don't run around and report people, i dont care what you do. But ill laugh as you cry on forums about it, as you don't even do your part. & thankyou for proving my point, i knew you couldn't say anything without calling me a fanboi
So your a trolling fanboy, well fine, enjoy your game with it's side of bots while you try to police the bots without any support from an ingame GM.
Yeah an opinion differs from yours and all the sudden im a troll a fanboi and im butthurt.
You sir, are a winner.
You are a troll because that is your goal. You aren't trying to put out a different point of view, you are merely attacking the point of view of others. Butthurt means that something someone has said has agitated you. What is sad is that I have to sit down and explain terminology.
Trolls are trolls, Fanboys are people who will side with the games producers no matter what. Not my fault you wedge yourself into those 2 categories.
If Zenimax institutes a fix that works, I will happily reinstate my sub. Until then they have to prove they are going to deal with the bots and hacks.
There is a major difference between an Opinion, & a troll. Just because you don't agree with it doesn't mean it is trolling. You are the one who seems extremely agitated, as you've called me a troll over about 3x now, a fanboy x2 times, and butthurt once.
If you would have read what you agreed to, Zeni doesn't have to let you know diddly squat about what they're doing.

Not agitated, but maybe I should quit feeding you.
Well then they loose customers, and that doesn't have anything to do with instituting a fix.
The Bots in ESO are gamebreaking, try rolling a new character and try going into any public dungeon. ZOS still has yet to institute the best fix: In game GM's.
See what happens when you don't flame and put out an opinion?

I am waiting on the bots-last light- video I clipped together when maint started, but somewhere I have an interesting one of an Undead boss spawn...
Where the bots were doing so much damage Before the mob appeared, that it never did. It was arriving already dead on the ground each spawn.
Tell me how you're supposed to get kill credit on a mob that is dead before you are able to take a swing at it.

Dear Fanboi,
We Have reported them. We have Reported the SAME bots for WEEKS and yet those same bots remain in the game, doing the same things they were doing the first time we reported them.
As to Jobs - it IS the Job of the staff at Zenimax to find and remove these people, as it is a violation of the terms THEY hold in contract, not us.
As long as We are not violating any terms of the agreement - they are required to prevent Others from doing so.
And given that they could Eliminate this problem in a few days without any Coding at all - by simply having a GM float between the dungeons-banning bots, and checking public chats-banning gold spammers...
There is no reason any of us should be Sympathetic to Zenimax in Their Failure to take Obvious, Simple, and Reliable action to remedy the situation - instead deciding to seek a solution that has eluded companies in this market for over a Decade, while leaving us to Suffer the consequences of nothing being done in the immediate term.
Reignskream wrote: »Bots in ESO are not game breaking, and they have not limited my ability to further progress. Of course they suck, but they're in no way shape or form game breaking.
Let me guess. You quickly leveled to max level. You aren't participating in the open world caves where the bosses are being camped 24/7. We aren't talking about the world bosses. We are talking about the bosses in caves.
You know. the ones you have to kill in order to the achievement for having completed that cave.
Guess what. If you can't kill the boss, you can't complete the achievement. That's game breaking.
Not everyone has lightning reflexes. I do, but I know people who don't and would like to enjoy that content (my brother being one of them).
So, we are supposed to believe that these bots are buying, setting up accounts, and leveling them to level 20-25 faster than Zenimax GMs can ban them?
LOL. Okay.

Ive killed bosses surrounded by 10+ bots, and gotten my achiev easily. stand where he spawns, wack him when he spawns, it is not that hard. Again, i understand it sucks.

Oh, so you are experiencing 10+ bots on a boss. Glad that you are adept enough to hit the boss before he is dead. Like I said, I'm able to do this too, but I also have great reflexes. I also know a lot of gamers who don't have great reflexes, and they shouldn't be punished by all the bots.
I've talked to many gamers who've tried for 30 minutes or more just to get the achievement. Getting loot is a completely different matter.
I have great reflexes, and I can still only get loot about 7/10 times.
Reignskream wrote: »All in all, lets hope they come off a little stronger in fixing the bots, but IMO, i believe they will.
That's my point. Manual cleaning in this game is a reaaally easy thing to do since bots are so limited in their interactions. In Ragnarok they teleported when you talked to them, disconnected, talked back, it was much harder to prove they were bots, yet I baned like 20 bots a day, and I wasn't even payed to do it.Dudegeridoo wrote: »I thinks Zenimax are making preparations for some big anti bots procedure.
The problems is, until that "thingy" come to live, they need to make some "manual" cleaning.
Hm, in that case, try spamming a heal on a bot. I think that counts as an assist to get you credit? Could be wrong.[/quote][quote="Rantog;701554[Any melee weapon.
I'm sorry but you're totally clueless as to the scale you're talking about here.
