There's also an NPC outside of Daggerfall playing a lute, which tons of music instruments all around him. If you ask him if they're for sell (it looks like a merchant tent) he scolds you about how long they took to craft and how he'd never sell them.
There is also a recipe book for slaughterfish - just something to read, not collect.

Ulalume✭There is a quest where you recruit people for the militia and this guy wants to marry first and you're supposed to help him. It seemed like a great idea to buy a poem from an orc poet, who had assured me that he's an expert by claiming that he knows all of the ten poems written in orc history by heart. So when my wannabe militia guy recited the orc's love ode "your neck smells like a rotten animal" I laughed so hard.
It was very cute when I later found out that my lonely guy hooked up with a female orc in the militia. Clearly, he had the poem to thank for that.7 -

Csub✭✭✭✭✭This is rather a funny experience than an in game easter egg or anything like that.
I was in Arx Corinium dungeon and was just about to take the quest inside when a message popped up if I wanted to take the quest as someone started (or shared, can`t remember). Anyway, I did not want to be missed out so I picked yes, then I noticed I could still talk to the NPC. As I was curious about the story, I did then I realised she wasn`t talking in English. At first I thought it was some ancient language but it was weird, I can`t remember many NPCs using different languages in TES series (well Skyrim`s dovaah language is different since it was very obvious and strongly around that). In a few seconds, I realised that the ancient language was, in fact, German, probably because the one who started/shared was German.

Tasmotu✭While "gathering" some guts for fishing bait in Bleakrock (Starter island for EP), I decided to help some chickens pass on. I really want that fishing achievement! Anyway, I started working on some chickens close to the town center, with some farmer dude merrily going about his chores. After the chicken population was severely thinned out, I decided to check if pigs and cows also drop guts (that sounds a bit... weird...). So, I kill the pig, only to have the farmer stop what he was doing, run over to me and say "You monster! Why would you do such a thing!" and stand by the dead pig as if really upset about his dead little piggy... I decided to leave his pig alone after that.10

The counterpart of that love is the merchant at the enchantment table.
The undaunted guildies are my favourites. The initation rite after the first completed dungeon ... But it got topped from the undaunteds in the holy city. Buy one of those spirits a drink and they start to sing for you. One very enthusiastic and the other two really weary. (This is, when you play with the english synchro. Havent tried other languages yet.)

While roleplaying at a small empty caravan outside of Windhelm, myself and my hubby saw two neutral sorceror NPCs spawn out of nowhere and start arguing. One was called 'Conjurer' and the other 'Pyromancer'.. They proceed to start fighting and flinging spells, ending up with the Conjurer as the winner. After killing the guy, he opens himself a portal and takes it, disappears. We just sat there watching like.. 'Wtf is this..' XDEdited by madame.kiraeb17_ESO on April 22, 2014 4:44PM6

I noticed that too.. but the "gear" the horse gets appears to depend on the stats you put onto it. My pack horse with everything in carrying capacity has bags on the sides of the saddle now.Fisher extraordinaire!

I must admit I've seen a few funny things in game, but some of these on the post are amazingly funny and i just shows you what a character the game has. I love the humor to be found where you would least expect it.
This thread is important as nowhere else are things like this mentioned. I'm talking official reviews and youtube videos. You've done the game a massive service here is this thread continues and it's a nice morale booster!
I spent one day the other week with my character on holiday from questing to just fish and hunt for bits and bobs and sight see for screen shots, it was a nice change to do this and just relax and view what the game has to offer.
You can miss a lot grinding and not paying attention ^^

Tiyamel✭✭✭most fun discovery for me was while hunting around for a lore book i came across an npc titled "Summoner" who was trying to open a portal, next thing, a daedric portal opened and 2 scamps popped out, i killed both, the portal closed and a white portal opened, the summoner walked through limping and holding his arm and then disappeared, portal disappeared too and that was that, and i was like wtf?Guild Master of Lost Prophecies, small group of friends playing in Ebonheart Pact, recruitment only accessible through playing with us and making a good impression.

Running around trying to snag some extra skill points for my crafting alt (to feed my main crafter items), I wandered into an area where the mobs were a bit too high for me. As I went to move away, an NPC with a quest was triggered and came running up to me for help. Well, I had planned to just leave, but as I started to turn around she yelled at me:
"Where are you going? Please, come back! Help us!"
.... I felt so bad that I went and at least picked up the quest from her. /facedeskCurrently Playing:
