Now if you can just bring out a GM in game and instant KILL/BAN gold spammers/botters in front of people it would be AWESOME! ;)

Hell yeah. This thread is no good without some demands. ;)

We demand public hanging of gold spammers/bots in the capitol cities of all three factions. Woot!

The real dilemma is that; Powdered doughnuts are overpowdered, the chocolate doughnuts are too chocolaty, and the coconut crunch doughnuts have more coconut than all other doughnuts. This is OUTRAGEOUSLY unfair to other doughnuts!

So from now on, all you special snowflakes get is nasty plain doughnuts...enjoy!

Bash the complains all you want, they are true and hard and just shadow the good that has been done (if any tbh).

the game right now, especially with the troubling dupe bug that occurred, just needs a re-release, with the early access and whatnot, because the game just got murdered by the gazzilions of gold that was duped and poured into the economy...

I really do pray for a re-release, no matter how much time would had become wasted. There are critical bugs (character stuck), quest bugs, w/e, all expected to show up during a game launch (even though some got reported... -.-').

But the huge amount of damage done by that dupe exploit just can't be ignored, that damage will only become minimal after a good 2 years of 0 possible exploits when everyone has stabilized their gold again, yet still by then, everything will be heavily overpriced because the base will always be of today, there is just too much of the duped items/gold already poured into the game...

So go ahead and put a shining light and everything you want on zos, but do not disregard or bash those who complain about their money not being used to perfect the product. Not everyone makes a thread saying "omg bug zos fix moeny nau back gife".

thanks OP for posting another pointless thread in the COSTUMER SUPPORT forum, so that we..people who have actual game breaking issues get ignored by the sheer amounts of useless posts like this one..go away

Since I was saying thanks to ZOS's customer support that makes this the perfect place to post it. Go away? Nope... Not happening. :)

there is another forum section for pve content and pvp etc. do you really think people who have problems with the game like it when people like the op comme here and express how wonderfull their working game is ?
    .
and look at the first post, its not even a complaint. so what is the reason it has to be posted here exactly ?

I never said my game was running flawlessly. I've found 2 bugged quests, I lost 3 bank upgrades and 38k gold, both of which ZOS fixed. I've seen bots in dungeons and found a couple of really bad problems with the werewolf skill line, but I know ZOS will fix those too, just like everything else they've corrected so far.

And the reason this was posted here was simply because I was saying thanks to ZOS's customer support, which makes this the perfect place to post it. It does not
have to be a complaint to be posted here.

If Zenimax decided to apologies for this complete mess of money grab pretending to be an Elder Scrolls game then I might consider thanking them, till then no.

They have my money that will have to do them, I have no interest in sucking up to a company that treats it's customers is such a poor manner.
You want us to thank a company that has taken something we love and have made a complete mess of it. Who are charging silly money for an average at best game.

Do you realize how pathetic you sound when you thank a company for over charging you for a faulty product?

I "thanked" them with my purchase and subscription fee. The myriad of bugs and big issues thus far make me think that the game should not have been released yet.

You may feel that way, but that's not the way it works. Not in polite society.

This is a huge problem in the digital information age. We conduct business in private behind closed doors without ever coming face-to-face with each other.

ZOS is not just an acronym that you can just type angry hate-filled text messages and then "post comment" to. It's a company filled with actual people like you.

Thanking someone for working hard to fix something you purchased is apart from any initial purchase. It's perfectly okay (by today's standards) if you don't want to do it, but your statement is rather an illogical one.

"Thanks ZOS for working hard (trying) to fix ESO, I love the game! I just wish all the bug patching and exploits could end sooner!"

You can just as easily thank them in a private email instead of a thread who's only purpose is to Annoy people who are having problems with the game.

And given the purchase price plus Sub I am dammed if I'm going to thank a Company for releasing a product in this state.

I play the game for hours every single day with no game stopping problems. How is that a faulty product? I love this game and will gladly pay to play it because most every problem I've encountered has already been corrected and ZOS has acknowledged the others, mainly bots and gold sellers, as a top priority to remedy.

That's not a faulty product that's a work in progress like every other MMO on the market.

    wow

Also, was it ever any doubt that an Elder Scrolls mmo was a money grab? It's not even made by Bethesda, so why you're complaining about something you should have known from the beginning is silly.
Also, the game is a month old, more or less. You honestly expect every little bug to be fixed within that time? You clearly don't play many games.

So, thank you zos for all the hard work that you've put in so far on ESO and will (no doubt) continue to do in the future. It does mean a lot to your players but I think people forget a little gratitude is a good thing.

I see tons of complaints, often multiple posts of the same issue sometimes by the same person, but I rarely see anyone say 'Hey, thanks for what you've done.'

    Let the flames begin.

You are either working for zenimax or you have no idea what you are talking about. We paid money for a service, it is not like they are doing this for free. As many players are suffering from bugs and broken dungeons, they are taking our hard earned money!

Tell me how you would feel if I took your money and did not earn it by doing whatever service you asked of me?

I bet there are millions of youtube video that can prove we don't live in a polite society, and to give feedback and complain about diss-satisfied services that you are paying for is completely normal. Just cause you aren't having the problems don't be-little the people that can't play....like PvP'rs (last line was in general and not directed at any persons)

Yep, it looks like a bone thrown into a pack of pitbulls/trolls though.

There was no real work around from customer support side when error 209... happened. The only "solution" staffwise made my launcher want to download the whole game again and again! But based of their "solution" some good guys in this forum found the working solution for me and many others.
So....its a 50:50 thanks to the staff and the community :)

I didn't post the message to annoy anyone, just to say thanks to a group of people who I see as working hard to fix problems in a game.

The game itself is actually very great despite some bugs.
The real problem is extremly bad customer support.
Answer to most problems is generic copy pasted messages.
When they decide to actually answer something else it doesnt look like they been reading the initial ticket at all.
Bots not beeing taken care of in weeks even thought they get daily reports from who know how many players.
Lack of responses to people taking time to post on forums asking for answers from ZOS

Work in progress? Really, this is what your telling your self? I'm not handing over any more cash so zenimax can work on finishing their game.

Your enjoying yourself great, but why come to the section of the forum where people are not have as great an experience as you and gloat?
You don't like people complaining about you beloved game, you want to shower praise on zenimax fine. Two thing you can do, don't visit the tech support section unless you need tech support thee by avoiding most complaints, and send them an email telling them how much loved them and want to swallow what ever they give you to swallow?

P.S if you read the ToS this is against the rules

Actually sir or ma'am, nothing I said was against the ToS. I was merely telling people that their complaints are moot (just the complaints on the maintenance and offline servers) because it states in the ToS that they retain the right to take down the servers. So how is passing on information against the ToS?

When someone is speaking truth, it's not being a troll =) Just thought I'd clarify that.

Edit - And just to clarify something else, this is not a flame thread. The OP (in my opinion) put up an excellent post. And to the fact that this is the customer support forum... well to that I say look around this forum. There have been nothing but ignorant, immature rants from impatient players wanting to "PLAY RIGHT NAOW". So I don't think he's out of line by posting here. He/she wants to make sure that the appropriate people see it. If you guys are really going to sit here and knock him, then I suggest going and knocking all the other posts that are nothing more than incessant crying.

Great Job. Enjoying the game. One of the best MMO's I played in a long time. The wife and I are enjoying it so much that sleep is now our enemy. I love the quick response of the bug reports and such in my email and swiftness to take action on those issues. My wife character and mine got stuck in Cyrodiil and you guys got right on it quickly and had us up and running in no time. Thanks again.

The hostile people here are the sort of folks that it's difficult to have sympathy with. From what I've seen customer service has been pretty prompt and, after being overwhelmed the first few days, pretty gracious. People pronouncing nonsense about "cash grabs" and the like are just spouting canned lines - if you hate it so much, quit. Everyone will be happier. And, no, the customer isn't always right - sometimes they're nasty and unreasonable.
