They are pushing 2-3 hotfix patches every week to try and keep up with the communities demands. Its ridiculous the way people act it makes me sick... OMG so many bugs the game is broken #Unsub.... and then they patch...OMG the servers are down now I have to face the real world for 4 hours of my day ahhhh #RefundMe!!!!!

    after having my bank reset itself, and having to run a 60 slot bank (I'm sure if you play the game you'd understand the difficulties re:multiple craft disciplines) I have allowed myself to become rather "testy".
    Please don't interpret my irritation over various topics as a wont to destroy or mar Zos or ESO.

    I can only speak for myself really, but I would suggest that some might express themselves in other manners.

    Some people expect quality for paying so much money...and then there are the tens of thousands that just want to be able to play the game they paid for, and if you aren't having problems just consider yourself lucky for now

    I felt like I should post in this thread . I have had my share of frustrations with this game the bugs, the minimal community response, the bots. I realize that I only ever come to the forums to make a complaint (all two of my total posts are in regards to bugs or exploits), and I feel I need to do the game justice and come over from time to time with positives, for good measure.

    I realize that this game has a lot of faults, but then I also keep catching myself comparing this game to others (bad habit I know), and that's the thing, comparing an MMo in its first fortnight of launch to already long established and successful MMos is akin to comparing potato and bananas.

    TESO has had one of, if not THE smoothest launch experience I've ever had, and I would like to thank Zenimax for that. MMo launches arent simple, and you guys have done very well.

    Your character creation and customization is legendary, and I can admit to creating over two dozen characters in the first two days, just because I wanted to get the feel of my character just right, and I couldn't decide through all the paths what to take, that freedom is sorely missed in MMos today, thankyou.

    Your leveling process, while it seems fairly linear as far as MMos go, I have found the grind of questing to be a very enjoyable experience, I play with one other friend and find that we can sometimes forget the time- last night we randomly checked the time between town runs (because bag space is a never ending issue) and realized six hours had gone by and it was two in the morning on a wednesday! Oops! I cant explain why or how this game does that, but it does and that is all that matters. Thank you Zenimax.

    I know that you guys know you have a great game, and realize that not everyone always thinks the worst- most of us only come here when there is a problem. Keep up the good work!

    Lol...semantics is so much fun. You really feel the need to try to insult peoples intelligence in a FLAME THREAD, such a brilliant mind at work here. Well I'm a fighter in real life and a PvP'r in game so your false sense of intelligently defending a FLAME THREAD doesn't bother me.

    I agree. I am especially happy with the refund I got for my missing items, but also just the game in general.

    And I apologize you feel this way, but Bethesda and Zenimax are not AAA developers, they are more like B developers. All the other ES games are extremely good, from 1-5 though I do not like Oblivion as much. The fact of the matter is, I love Morrowind for example, but all the NPCs (or most anyway) are like talking vending machines. Click "Latest rumors" or "little secret" lol. They all have most of the same options for dialogue. This is just an example BUT the point I am making is this is not WB, EA, Bioware, etc, Bethesda and Zenimax are a fairly small studio compared to others and though all of the ES games have been incredible, most had many problems and many little quirks that were a bit odd and not up to par with AAA titles. I also cannot help but think you have probably only played Skyrim and are basing your "how *** they can make an Elder Scrolls game" comment off your experience in Skyrim, I may be wrong but I am almost positive that is the case here.

    The OP did not start this thread purposefully to have it become a "flame thread", the immature people made it that way. And when it comes to your real life... dude I don't care... I could give a rat's butt less if you were a politician or a hollywood actor. And I could care even less about what you do in game. That's none of my concern. And I invite you to scroll up and actually read some of the posts. How many of the pro-OP posts tell people to "quit" or "leave".... hrm, quite a few of them actually.     Are you that naive to think that you are going to get a 100% perfect product from a gaming company?????? The "it's an mmo" excuse is good enough, because as it's been stated before, online gaming is a completely different business. It's never going to be perfect, and it's never going to be hassle free. No MMO will.

    In MMOs you have an enormous number of people trying to do the same thing at the same time. This honestly isn't the sort of thing that you can troubleshoot before the game goes live. The problem quests in the early game were only broken when there were a lot of people online, which is exactly what you'd expect for a MMO. Many of the problems involve rare combinations of actions, which do things like mess up the database and banks.

    This is very different from a single player game, where it is much more reasonable to expect a company to have been able to test and debug things. I think that some people may not appreciate why MMO launches are, by their very nature, buggy.

    Didn't read all this garbage here and if you aren't smart enough to know a flame thread , then there is nothing anyone can do to help...when someone ends the post with LET THE FLAMES BEGIN, that is your biggest clue. The "it's an mmo" excuse is good enough, because as it's been stated before, online gaming is a completely different business. It's never going to be perfect, and it's never going to be hassle free. No MMO will.

    There's the problem right there, you have no expectation of getting a finished product and you don't even care or are aware that you being rip off. No mmo is hassle free is just accepted now, and the industry know that they can sell you half a game and fix it later,

    I'm naive, good one. I'll remain naive and save my cash for products of quality, and you can keep spending cash on what ever drivel the developers decided to dump you.

    Im also amazed that ZOS hasn't taken any action to move/close this thread since it has nothing to do with the support part of the sub forum, at all, this is a general discussion thread, at best.

    Yet let some one make another one and see ZOS jump on them for showing the faulty product...

    In MMOs you have an enormous number of people trying to do the same thing at the same time. This honestly isn't the sort of thing that you can troubleshoot before the game goes live. The problem quests in the early game were only broken when there were a lot of people online, which is exactly what you'd expect for a MMO. Many of the problems involve rare combinations of actions, which do things like mess up the database and banks.

    This is very different from a single player game, where it is much more reasonable to expect a company to have been able to test and debug things. I think that some people may not appreciate why MMO launches are, by their very nature, buggy.

    What you say is true, but there are plenty of ways to reduce these kinds of problems at launch and I feel the only reason that it is rarely if ever done is as simple as cutting the cost of production get the game out as early as possible and start making cash sooner.

    A couple of weeks after launch and a lot of the problems have been sorted but how much friction has been created in the community and on the forums because of this.

    Almost forgot,
    Thank you ZoS for taking a hundred dollars of my money for such a buggy game. I just have one request, can you please change the loading screen background...after staring at it for so many hours it's lost all of it's luster. When I was in Beta everything seemed to run fine up to level twelve for me, and thank you for changing that. I do appreciate all the time to ponder all the mysteries in life with all monstrous down time and patches. I beg that you will continue to take my money and provide me with continued enjoyment and enlightenment in the future

    Read again I agreed Cust service was bad. On average I have only run into 1-2 quests per zone that I could not finish. IMO that's a pretty damn good quality experience. Also until an MMO goes F2P its always in development, look at WoW it still fixes bugs and makes improvements. You cant build Rome over night. The only real issues I see are the people who abuse Duping, gold spam, and Bots. Then again its an MMO so it will never go away completely, but I am positive it will get better with time.

    Well PvP'rs are having so many issues so I don't care about bots and gold sellers until we can play and group in Cyrodiil.

    I was going to go through each point but your responses became so pointless I will just say, you have no clue what you're are talking about.

    Happily married by the way :wink:...I was merely giving you an opportunity to elaborate on your issues. I even stated I felt you were spot on about in game cust service. I offered up some reasons why you may be having issues in game, asked about a bug too. I also gave you a few ways to ease up your bank space issues. Have you not been compensated for you lost bank slots either? I asked what features you wanted in game, albeit I did stir the pot a little on that one lol. And lastly I was just trying to get you to realize you aren't the only one with issues so don't feel hurt or neglected if they "ZoS" doesn't cater to you as if you were the only one who plays the game.

    One thing I have learned about forums is don't feel bad for the way someone interprets what you type. That's their problem not yours.
