I don't understand why people are allowed to just massively queue on to Cyrodiil campaigns, even when no one is present on the opposing sides.
This is an easy fix that could go a long way for Cyrodiil, you would never put the Toronto Blue Jays vs 7 other teams in one 24/7 baseball tournament and expect the Blue Jays to have a chance.
Why is no one on this?

That's what everyone does, and that's so the issue as well, why would they even sell faction changes?
I see people all day "whys EP so dominant" "Maybe I should roll EP"
Maybe Zenimax should add in siege timers and give actual good rewards to guilds who protect their keeps.

If they added siege timers they'd have to add more content to Cyrodiil for when a siege is on timer.
Back when I played on Xbox a fair ratio was: 1 DC was worth about 10 EP and 300 AD. The game balanced fairly well because it would constantly Dis-Connect DC from the game. Only reason why the other alliances had a chance nine tenths of the army would disappear at a keep.
Today's army sounds a little softer since the alliance change influx. I hear two bars blue beats 3 bar red & yellow, to get called a cheater when they win the main campaign. Obviously our enemies are blind and doesn't know what honor looks, in part because the Orsimer pups throw dirt in their face and strike them down. But for them to even glare at our most of honorable warriors and not know to revere them, then their destruction is most certain.1 -

✭EP is also present in overwhelming numbers on PS4 EU. Since the alliance change, most of the time the map is all red. The few DC/AD around can't compete. So what happens next? Some DC/AD players will get tired of continually getting beaten and will join EP. Eventually there will be so many EP that the players who don't want to change will just stop going to Cyro, and EP won't have anyone to fight.

✭✭✭Best fix is to make Cyrodiil PvP situations into BG maps then shut down Cyrodiil.
No more endless riding through empty landscape.
No more AP boosting exploits.
No more PvDoor when there aren't enough people.
And no more "unbalanced populations" -- once they fix BG group finder that is.

ChaosWotan✭✭✭✭✭I've always played EP on pc, EU. Have taken a few pauses from the game, after IC launched and the year before this summer, but the only time EP was a strong force in my time was in 2014/15, when all factions had great train battles, almost 24/7. Then came IC and ruined it. Anyway, EP has always sucked, when not being organized, despite its popularity. I'm on Ravenwatch now, and we are once again at the bottom of the campaign.
A good Cyro guild can easily have both raspberries and tomatoes for breakfast, when EP is an unorganized mob.0 -

The answer is simple. Each server is a 24-hour server with many players who's best time to play does not line up with prime time for that continent.
I do not think Zos wants to tell that firefighter, EMS paramedic, or ER worker that their money is less important to them because their shift does not line up with when most players on that server can play.
That is the reason. Cyrodiil was never designed or intended to be truly competitive PvP, just fun PvP. It is that simple.1
