EHT - how to remove the click, click+hold thing?

Maybe someone can help

I have an issue on Essential Housing Tools with FX and placement tool.

When the Editor mode is ON, EHT understands the left click as a selection and displacement of any FX that I mouse-over at this time.

Yet I use my left click as main movement forward (like you use "Z" key by default). So each time I use Editor mode to change or move furniture, some FX is displaced by error and this became very annoying...

"Click to Edit
Click+Hold to Drag"

Is it possible to change the settings for this?
If not, is it possible to simply deactivate it?

@Ajaxandriel just seeing this while literally falling asleep. I'll take a look tomorrow (i.e. later today). As a temporary solution: select all your (already placed) FX using the main EHT selection window and lock them. No clicky clicks will misplace them.

I did it for some houses with few FX and it’s OK

But my main villa has dozens of FX, is there a way to select all the FX en masse (without selecting regular furniture) in order to lock them at once?

There’s a select all fx in the drop box on the select tab

Should have elaborated on that earlier, sometimes I assume too much, in this case, that you knew about the drop down list. My bad, sorry for that

I don’t recall an option for that but does toggling FX off at least hide that prompt? I know you can setup a key to toggle FX off/on at will.

I've tried to look for settings for this @Ajaxandriel and as it is part of the FX editor, therefore, even if you change select/deselect controls for EHT and in game editor, that left click selection persists for the FX editor. I don't have a better solution than the one I already mentioned. Just add all your FX to the EHT selection window and lock them.

I found an FX toggle on the EHT button pop up menu. When it’s off it hides the paint buckets so that you wouldn’t have this problem. Hope it works for you.

despite it hiding the paint buckets, they are still clickable

Yes thank you @bayushi2005 and @StabbityDoom it works perfectly!

I hope one day we will be able to change the clic for another keybind

but for now it solves my problem.
