Most ANNOYING dungeon boss

It's just become Arkhesis the Mad Alchemist. Such poor dialogue/voicing design. The lines are lamely simple, like i love combustion ha ha ha and voicing is disturbingly bad.

I mostly love boss lines and voicing in ESO, especially DLC ones. Take Orryn the Black for example:

The clatter and scrape of old bones is music to my ears.

Watch how the puppets dance. I'll teach you the steps soon enough.

The forgotten dead are eager to taste life

These are only a few of many amazing quotes by Orryn the Black. Now compare it to i love combustion ha ha ha. This one was a total disappointment for me.

The banished cells dude. Most of the time we're just blowing through it, and his dialogue hasn't caught up yet, so it's just a constant wall of text on screen.

Zaan the Scalecaller. Maybe a memory from when I spent like hours there, trying to finish it. Now she doesn't really get the chance to annoy me. ;-)
For someone who claims to have her voice stolen, she talks an awful lot! "No, stay away from Spellbreaker! They may have stolen my voice yada yada" over and over again.

Another "favorite" is Orryn the black in Fang Lair, probably for the same reason. He is intentionally rude and arrogant, and getting hardmode done there, gives you plenty of time to go mad about him too. Rakkhat in MOL is pretty priceless too, don't remember what he says specifically, but something about killing you again. Never been stuck there awfully long though, but it might grow on you I suppose.

Oh, I love Zaan... one of my favorite fights in the game. "Once, I was worshiped. Now I shall be FEARED!!!"

My least-favorite is Tarcyr in MoS... I hate those forced invulnerability phases that occur multiple times and you have to deal with the exact same stupid mechanic each time. He's second only to the dragons in SS in my mind.

For me this is by far one of the best voice acting/writing in game.

I love to watch a soul bloom from its wretched corpse.
And your shattered bodies will make the perfect set dressing.

And Zaan of course.

But Arkasis are good to. Not that good as Orryn, but still quite like his lines and voice acting.

As for the topic. Tarcyr fight, no questions. The most annoying mechanics in the whole game. And unskippable.

Dragon/Add fight in Lair of Maarselok . (4th boss -> before final boss fight)

I get it ... it's for immersion but sooo damn annoying. And "well designed" as you can fall through the ground. (rolldodge+dragon = skydiving)

Not really. There's literally no depth in any of his lines that i could catch, and voice acting is just annoying.

I don't know the exact terms to describe it but it's like playing big to hide your bad acting skills. Angry, angrier, angriest, loud, louder, loudest, mad, madder, maddest... If i were a bad voice actor i'd believe that only way to express madness is shouting and laughing a lot. I'm not a voice actor but i've got enough acting experience to recognize the bad example.

They tried real hard to make it look cool, but it's overtly superficial.

Not really. There's literally no depth in any of his lines that i could catch, and voice acting is just annoying.

I don't know the exact terms to describe it but it's like playing big to hide your bad acting skills. Angry, angrier, angriest, loud, louder, loudest, mad, madder, maddest... I liked Arkasis even if he's almost cartoonish

The most annoying to me is the guy in the Deshan dungeon. The one after you kill the sential is an optional kill.

I'll cast my vote for Molag Kena too. Her nasal voice drives me nuts. I haven't done the Harrowstorm or Stonethorn dungeons yet though.

For the opposite, shout out to Tree-Minder Na-Kesh for intro line I never get sick of hearing - "Dryskin savages! This city will be your grave!" Even after a few dozen repeats one after the other as I pursued the hardmode clear back in the day, I still didn't mind. Or the rest of her dialogue from that fight, for that matter.

I actually like Rilis as a boss

My hate lies less in bosses and more in NPCs around them. Starting with the Khajit priest in Sunspire.

"Alkoh's do not forsake us. I BEEEGGG YYYYYOOOOOUUUUU!!!!!" I hate that voice and that line that is spoken Everytime you do that trial. Which if you are grinding for gear, is a lot.

Also once had Spindleclutch 2 bug out in Audio and had it repeat infinitly until I left. "Over there! It's Mereel!" That sucker was on loop the whole dungeon, I was forced to turn off my sound, couldnt bear it.

My most annoying boss? its not a dungeon one but ANY dragon......infinate screaming, constant talking while explaining/listening to mechanics infront of the boss.

dishonourable mentions would be the ones previously mentioned: Kena, Lord warden, would also say any of the minibosses/troll king in blessed crucible and bosses in wayrest sewers since they have so many bugs

Count me as another that loves Rilis. I love the sneer in his voice. Zaan is my favorite though.

Tarcyr is probably my most hated boss in the entire game but since that's due to mechanics, I guess I can't count him. But if I could, he's right there at the top of the list, followed closely by the vault protector in Frostvault.

Both Molag Kena and Vykosa have voices and/or dialogue that annoys me, Vykosa particularly. "Run, run like the prey you are!" UGH. I need a throat lozenge listening to her.

The dragon at the end of moongrave fane. I bet you are asking yourself "wait, you don't fight a dragon at the end of moongrave fane." To that i say "you're right". It's not the fight that's the most annoying, it's the continuous roar of the dragon after the battle ends. Zos fix your broken game!!!

The maze boss in Moon Hunter Keep is near the top in both the "annoying dialog" and "annoying mechanics" categories.

Rilias is awesome. I wish they did more of a back story on him. His sarcasm and arrogance is perfect.
