Erm... what's the logic behind putting three quest lines together? It seems pretty random.

My favorite is Vvardenfell -> Clockwork City (all-time favorite) -> Summerset :)

Wrothgar is one of my all-time favourites (political tension, fleshed out villains, good twist, non-cliché side characters, and bonus relevance if you play as an Orc). It also had very nice side quests with the clans so Orsinium is a perfect questing package as far as I'm concerned.

Hew's Bane is also pretty good, a very nice Thief fantasy questline with heists, traps, innovative sneaking gameplay, traitorous scoundrels and a merry band of misfits that have great sarcastic banter in the Thieve's Den

Craglorn isn't on my top list, but it was included with the other two...but it was certainly a unique quest line with all that time-traveling champion and the celestial conflict, rather than 'Ayrenn's Family Drama chapter 4' like some other zones lol.

Vvardenfell / Murkmire / Western Skyrim (Greymoor)
My favorite by far is Murkmire. I much prefer a zone story that deep dives into the lore and history of a region rather than one that simply deals with current events. Probably because ESO is my first time getting into a TES game; if I already knew all that lore and history junk I'd likely just be looking for epic adventure. Going into Murkmire I didn't know anything at all about Argonians except they were ugly and talked funny, and seemed weak. But I made my first Argonian anyway because one of every race, and started him in the only place that seemed logical, Murkmire, and not only did it change my view of them to the point where Argonians are one of my favorite races now, but the zone itself is well done, it's aesthetically pleasing and the quests are fun and feel more varied than other zones.

I also happened to really like Vvardenfell for similar reasons, I didn't feel it had the same kind or variety, and the main story felt kind of short, but Vvardenfell did a really good job of making the sidequests feel important and blending them in to the zone story, which was the one thing I felt Murkmire was lacking in.

Another zone I liked was Wrothgar. I have mixed feelings about the main story there, on one hand it felt a little generic, but between the main story and the side quests I did learn a lot about Orcs, and Wrothgar is possibly my favorite zone aesthetically, so overall a great zone.

Summerset I liked a lot as well. Although I do detest the Altmer, I think my strong feelings towards them is sort of a testament to how well done and rich with lore the stories were there.

I like Betnihk a lot too, for such a tiny zone it told a pretty big story.

My favorite alliance to quest through as a whole was AD. It was the only one to me that didn't feel centered around the alliance
war and instead focused on the working parts within the regions, with the war being more in the background. I like the way the alliance war is used as a driving force behind PvP and that it sets a tone for the time period, but as an overarching main story it feels a little bland to me. Perhaps that difference in approach is a fault of the 3 banner war though. AD simply has more longstanding enemies like the maormer and wood orcs that don't just go away because there's a war going on, whereas the races from the other alliances are all supposed to be allied with their biggest historical enemies so there's less alternate plot points for them to turn to. But yeah, playing through AD I felt compelled to see what would happen next and by the end I wanted more, with the other alliances by time I was close to the end I was just hoping things would wrap up quickly. I did enjoy Rivenspire going through DC, as far EP goes nothing really stood out as being too memorable, though Shadowfen was ok I guess if I had to pick a favorite zone there.

The zone that disappointed me the most was Elsweyre. I like the cat people and was looking forward to getting to know them better, but it felt to me like the cat people were just used as a backdrop for Dragons and a disfunctional family reunion. I think I got to know the cat people better going through grahtwood and reaper's March than I did in Elsweyre, which as a chapter felt like a rip-off and a wasted opportunity. To be fair though, I did rush through Elsweyre a lil bit, not sure if it's because my time was being spread thin at the time (which it was), or because the only parts that interested me were the bits with the cat queen. I plan to play through it again at some point to give a fairer shot, it's a really nice looking zone, so I do want to like it.

Another I didn't like much was Clockwork. It seems like an interesting story and I like Sotha Sil, but everytime I go there I feel distracted by an overwhelming urge to leave. Between their elevators and their annoying delve layout and long bridges and robots sounds the place just gives me anxiety. It's one of the last zones I still have to finish.

Rivenspire, main regional quest and side quests combined, is awesome. Even the group dungeon and public dungeon have among the best quests of their respective kinds. There as as many good tough-choice quest decisions as I can recall from the rest of the game combined. Hoarfrost Downs has what is probably my favorite comic quest line in the game. Even the delve quests are well above average for their kind.

And the main regional quest line is pretty good too. :)

    I'll go with Rivenspire.

Reaper's March. Absolutely the most amazing quest line in this entire game. I will play it through on every character I have. It's.... unbelievably emotionally satisfying....

I'm sure the Wrothgar quest line is wonderful.... but since I can't get past the first "mini boss".... Holy crap, with my ping there is NO WAY I'm able to get done with him....

I'm like super duper picky on quests/story.
Most don't ever interest me when it comes to The Elder Scrolls. I do them all, but none really have me captured like a lot of other games managed to do.

I slowed down and tried to pay attention to Clockwork City, no idea how it started but by the end, I was paying attention.
Gold Coast started nicely, but at a bunch of different places I lost interest, it was on and off for me.
As for the third option in the one I picked, I have zero idea on what happened in the Rift.

But CWC and Gold Coast, they did good....for the most part. Same with Summerset, I enjoyed Summerset.

Vvardenfell, Eastmarch, Wrothgar, Reapers March. I also liked Northern Elsweyr the first time because I literally took every quest marker as it came up in my travels. That’s also where I started the game.

Vvardenfell is the only zone where I finished every single quest. I mean every story and side story is just that good.

Eastmarch is just well put together. I feel like it could stand alone and probably should have been the final zone in the Pact story line. The rift was so all over the place it was a letdown after all the build up in Eastmarch.

Wrothgar is so odd the wall that it’s extremely fun to me. You can see the story coming a mile away but the voice acting and writing were superb. This was a fun zone to play.

Reapers March was also really well done. The AD story line really finishes better than the other alliances. Choices feel more impactful, plus Razum Dar is easily the best NPC in the game.

Yes, Summerset was probably my favorite as it was the best written and designed of all the DLC zones to that point but I do not find it on the list. Northern Elsweyr is my second favorite, maybe tied, as the storyline was awesome and the return of John Cleese was amazing. But I do not find Summerset on the list.

My suggestion to OP. Have 4 separate polls. One for each alliance and one for DLC zones. Then take the top for each of those four polls and make a fifth poll. Maybe even the top two of each of the polls.

Sonefalls has a greate story about what happens if you deal with ancient evil to protect Davon's Watch from smurfs invasion. Deshaan is where you first met Naryu, also the fake god Almalexia storyline also there.

I didn't remember any notable things in Rivenspire. Maybe it's cuz i generaly don't like narrative with vampires.

My second character that I began to level was my Nightblade, and this last week i went back to playing on him and continued the Thieves guild questline in Hews Bane. I actually really loved the entire questline even if.. as i discovered.. the jail break area was completely empty of guards/mobs which made it stupidly easy. Overall, this zone just made me like the various characters i met within the thieves guild so much and so far, this zone has my overall vote. Loved it!

Got to Master Thief, then went over to gold coast and yesterday got Dark Brotherhood 12, and Assassin title is also now mine. Have to finish legerdemain now, and i've got that on 11 or 12

I also really liked southern elsweyr with the dragonguard, but loved the side quest up the top left of that map with the village and the tainted paint as well as of course the dragonguard questline itself.

Its really difficult to choose favourites, so prefer to just pick those which have stood out for me.

Summerset is the best part of ESO that developers have created so far. a shining peak of the game, story-wise, characters-wise, etc. Both by itself, and as the final part of the "elven trilogy" (Vvardenfell - Clockwork City - Summerset). It's "Infinity War" of the Elder Scrolls. If ESO was a singleplayer game, it could be the perfect ending. I can imagine even the heroic death of our character in the end, coming to his one final greatest deed, saving not a single province, not Tamriel, not even the whole Nirn, but the infinite reality itself. Everything that came out after it so far, looks like an afterword to me. The scale of events is incomparable, not by a long shot.

Now imagine my disappointment about Summerset being the only region not included in your poll for some reason. ;)

Clockwork City and the side quests on the Gold Coast.

I really hate how they handle recurring NPC’s these days. With usually only one line of “Oh hey, it’s you” dialogue. Meeting Naryu again in Morrowind felt kinda weird and awkward due to it.

Honestly every DLC from Imperial City through to Dark Brotherhood was really good. Wrothgar especially. I didn’t like Morrowind much for some reason though, something about the environment felt off. I also kinda wanted to sabotage that Telvanni Argonian.

I remember liking Summerset, but I’ve only been through it once. I’ll be going through it a second time soon.

Least favourite are Shadowfen, Murkmire and Western Skyrim/Blackreach. Shadowfen on Vet 3 back in the early days of the game almost drove me to quit. Murkmire was so dull I don’t remember anything about it and Western Skyrim/Blackreach was a huge letdown, the writing felt so weak and unoriginal, even within the bubble of ESO alone.
