Will it be ok to introduce 170cp gear, that is above gear cap, leaving gear cap at 160, essentially powering up everyone willing to farm the new gear.
Edit: Also, if there are any people that voted no but also were against updating vMA staves to their new version, please explain what's the difference.
I can see the desire to improve after you maxxed out everything.
But then I'd rather see stuff you can spend your CP > 810 on, like:
- faster swimmming
- extra housing item allowance
- less falling damage
- vanity mount
Didn't you see the edit? The new stats will be around 0.5% more, which means maybe a 0.2% of dps increase, so it doesn't really matter.

Worse is that this will be an blanket nerf a bit how you get weaker leveling up without upgrading your gear.Anotherone773 wrote: »Most people cry because they might have to farm new gear( completely optional) but they farm it anyway with your quarterly nerfdates anyway so its kind of a stupid argument.
If you are in the high endgame community, farming new gear is not optional. I understand, if I have to farm a comlete new set, or a previously useless set that becomes usefull. But if I had to farm all the sets I already have and spend tons of golden crafting mats and transmute crystals to upgrade it, I would probably quit the game. The endgame community is already upset because of the few and too easy endgame content. This would most likely make 50% of the PvE endgame community leave the game.
