I guess it will be "solved" when most of us in Europe give up and go to bed. Then the server will hopefully be able to take the load of the remaining players. Which says something very sad about the current state of things.
It's dissapointing that us EU players have to miss almost an entire day of our subscription due to the 11 hours of maintenance and the endless hours of stuck at login screen, and the NA are largely unaffected and still get almost the entire day to enjoy the new update.
Awesome job ZOS, great way to look after half the playerbase.
And NO acknowledgement of the problem by the devs.
But there are 4 replays for NA players that can go into the game but not access the Greymore Chapter.
PC-EU is second class as usual.
Where are the performance improvements? Did ZOS upgraded their servers...especially EU ? NO!
Probably tomorrow will be better....but not a single excuse for not upgrading the infrastucture. It's a shame..
I love ESO...but this childish mistakes..you know what I mean...just the example with Elsweyr...and now the same old EU server..no upgrade received to handle "more requests"
"Never play on patchday"...always so true. And since I didn't expect it to work properly today, I am not disappointed now. Of course I would love to finally play but yeah...it's not surprising that we'll probably have to wait until tomorrow (hopefully only until tomorrow) to be able to play.
The only solution is going back to the previous version that was on the servers before today. Maybe ZOS is loosing money because people without the expansion can go there. But apparently it worked way better that the current one.
Same! Can't log in EU at all, no problems with logging on NA, but having an AWFUL desync and 20fps instead of usual 100+ here.
And you know what? Not surprised at all
PSA - Crown items paid for cash have a chance to soon be obtainable in game for free
Not my quote "It took a while to sink in that we’re killing it right now..."
Dragonhold - "...updated Activity Finder for dungeons and Battlegrounds, and also focuses heavily on the first part of the performance improvements for ESO..." ^^
