1. Gina Bruno Sarah Hecker on the forums: "Huh, are you guys experiencing login troubles? That's weird, we'll look into that."
2. The Red Banner of Doom: "We are aware of some players not being able to log in on PC EU. We are investigating."
3. Red Banner of Doom, stage 2: "We are ACTIVELY investigating! (...really)"
4. Server technicians pushing buttons on a coffeemaker they found somewhere, to pretend activity.
5. 11 PM EU time, players going to bed, problem solved itself without any effort from ZOS
6. Next day, 1 AM: "Guys, we fixed it!!!1" -- ZOS

After 20 years of playing MMO's I should not be surprised. It looked like I was getting beyond the character load for a moment and then:

"Unable to connect to game server. Please make sure you have a valid internet connection."

Not working here either. Either infinite character load or getting kicked back to login screen with "this account is already logged in" when retrying.

Me and my wife can't login over 1 hour already. The game crashes on character loading and tells us to check our internet connection (well that I used to wrote this post) or that we are already logged in. I hope someone tries to fix this problem right now.

actual in my ts channel there were 7/8 players who could log in i was the only one that couldnt, maybe it was because i was the only one *** enaugh to watch the intro

It was possible to get in if you were in the instant first group of those who quickly clicked login once the maintenance was over. After that, I do not know a single person who has gotten in later.
