I WANT ANSWERS!
Wow, calm down. Issues happen. To expect some sort of compensation because your entitled self didn't get to play right at 8am on the dot is ridiculous. You want a working game or a broken game?
I can't PvP so I'll have to do some forum PvP for a bit. I have no patience left anymore after seeing what's happening with each update to this game's performance becoming more unplayable every single time with nothing done about it. There needs to be consequences for such a big mistake not once but twice in a row and I don't see that happening.
What is being done to prevent this issue from happening again?
WOW, talk about having a tantrum, take a chill pill and relax.
In all seriousness, it is embarrassing how they always screw up the little things that should be bread-and-butter. It's not some tough bit of code that's gone wrong, it's something that should have been in the test scripts as standard. In just about any business I know, if you screwed up like this (multiple times) you would be fired for gross incompetence. The lunatics are running the asylum.
Is it compensation-worthy? No, not really.
Is it a huge deal that live will be delayed by {some} hours? No, not really.
Have I got other suff to do? Yep.
The issue is that this is the thousandth example of a gaming company that has a brilliant game on their hands, but insufficient care and attention in how they handle the property and zero concern for the customer base. All I can say is thank god communication has improved so much: two years ago we'd all be wondering wtf is going on!
You'll receive 1g.
I'll send it to you if you're in EU.
Now, please, stop asking for compensation, because this does not deserve any.

I love people whose go to insult is to tell others to relax having no idea how the other person may be feeling. lol talk about immature.

It has literally nothing to do with entitlement. It has everything to do with 6 plus years of constant negligence and lack of quality assurance for a product that people PAY for from a multi-billion dollar company.
"You want a working game or a broken game" says a lot ...you must be new to ESO? Give it a year or two and you will better understand the frustration of others on this topic.
Until then, please don't react in such a silly manner.

I keep seeing this pop up, and I've tried to ignore it, but I just have to ask: If you're truly this unhappy, why are you still here? If you check my post history, you're going to find a rather shocking detail: I was gone for a very long time. Why? Something made me unhappy. I didn't haunt the forums, I didn't grab every opportunity to troll ZoS, I left. I left to the point that I had uninstalled the game, and removed the bookmarks to the forums, which I had to reassign when I came back. I'm not even sure how long I'm planning to stick around, so unsure, in fact, that I didn't bother to purchase this expansion, despite being able to do so. I also didn't raise a big fuss about it in the threads dedicated to it, and yet, I see a lot of this. "I've been traumatically unhappy with this game for 6 years, and yet I'm still here". It doesn't say as much about ZoS as you'd like.

I understand this exact same issue happened when they released Elsweyr last year. Who is in charge of testing these things before they are released?

Server down for 2 hours now with no ETA in sight so it could be a few more hours because the new chapter was free for everyone? How could such a large issue be allowed to be released into live? What testing if any if being done before these patches are pushed out?
What compensation will we be receiving for the game being down most of the day when it was promised to be released at 08:00?
Oke Karen
