Canceled my subscription and stopped playing. The reason is the way ZOS (not) handles bugs and performance issues.

Last chance until next patch. I barely play anymore, rarely enjoy it, I'm mostly there for the community. Considering any other MMO atm. If game won't be in the best possible shape, I will gladly quit.

I will stay subscribed for as long as I'm playing the game, because the game in my opinion is unplayable without plus. At the moment I'm barely playing though, because it's just no fun when skills don't fire and mechs are fubar, and half the group is kicked to login mid-fights.

I understand and agree that the game becomes quite difficult and frustrating without the bonuses attributed through the sub, but I cannot subscribe to something which isn't working the way it is intended to play.

As I said in another thread, I added a second ESO Plus over the weekend.

I expect I will use it for the base 30 days, and then drop it. I am doing stuff with that account that benefits from ESO Plus. Mainly, I am leveling some characters through DLC zone quests, dungeons, and a little sub-50 Cyrodiil, which does not highlight performance problems that exist in the game. On that account, this game is quite acceptable.

It's funny seeing the same folks saying they just canceled, who just canceled several years ago.

The truth is you probably bought the game on steam during a five buck sale, you might have one level 20 character, and you spend 12-18 hours a day screaming on the forums about how bad eso and zos sucks, because to you trolling the forums is much more fun than any mmo could ever be.

    Hi Klad,

    Thanks for your response.
Of course there might be some people like in the thread, but it's not my case as I ordered the first game and imperial edition when it first came out. I can't prove things to you, but I can say on my behalf that I have been a loyal player yet a highly frustrated one at the moment.

Cancelled, like i've done 2 patch ago, lucky me i've subscribed only for One month on this patch when It was playable, then the performance keep falling from a cliff,i'm playing from 1 and half year, and no,i don't talk trash just for trolling,i like when they change things and add new sets, but from august to today i've only see bad change and then mediocre band aid, when i started play,i remember people try to keep up siroria even in mobile fight for not swap to bsw,and that for me was good time because thats where you Need to be good, not the apm things that emerged on this pts, that its Just trash talking with the performance we have now. Then nerf, then buff, and they left some class in really bad position, instead of balance in name of the liberty of play anything you want.I won't even preorder the DLC,i don't do quest, its enough i've done main quest and cadwell gold (another shame it's the reward from the quest, why would i ever do a quest long days, and receive as a reward a potato?Lore? Ok nice, but alot of player After some time want to be competitive, pve or pvp speaking. At least give some unique set that can be farmed only by finishing quests, and not trash sets,se already have thousand of that) Then bg's,cyro unplayable, but i'm only talking for me and from a pve perspective,so ymmv

    Hi Elsonso,

    Thanks for your comment.

I am happy that you are enjoying the game with two subbed accounts. If you chose the 12euro/15dollar one month plan then yes it will last 30 days with the choice of stopping or continuing. For levelling and XP it works I agree, but I would like to be able to subscribe and play PVP in a good atmosphere (playable), some PVE on the side (I have done a lot in the past) and continue housing. I also read through you that you wish to promote the game in a positive light, which is understandable and I like the game too, yet I am having a more realistic approach in regards to paying for something that doesn't convene with performance as a whole.

It happens after the mods delete some comments. Somehow the forum engine does not recognize the exact date of the last post and it stays back in the second or third page.

I've softened on my initial response (for which I apologize), and voted.
I purchased a six month sub the last time I re-upped and I have four months remaining on it.
At this time, I have no plans on discontinuing.

I don't PvP, so I am not afflicted with the technical difficulties experienced by that crowd.
I'm also mostly a solo player, and I have not experienced any glaring issues associated with PvE in that regard, other than occasional very long loading screens.

As such, the perks that ESO+ grants currently outweigh the technical glitches that I personally experience.
My sub will continue until that changes.

    Hi Bearbelly,

Thanks for replying and being honest in your type of gaming style.
I think this is where us players have conflict of interests. Myself I prefer to do grouped and organized content (Pve raidleader, Pvp raidleader or simply as a team mate). I won't reiterate the problems that come with my activities mentioned above as I'll just be an old record on repeat.

I can understand also that these issues won't effect you on the grand scale of things (overland, questing, occasional random group dungeons, writs etc and they are all good), but the game is bigger than that and should aspire to be more in my opinion. Some of us in my category of play style could come to question is it intentional, but either way separating player styles (us) with frustration isn't and shouldn't be the answer.

Personally, if I was a player who was really invested in PVP, I would not be playing this game. That is something that I have said for years, now. If you can take the PVP, as is, and enjoy it, then all is good. If you expect more out of the game than what it is delivering, then you are going to be disappointed. PVP is "as-is", as far as I am concerned.

That said, I have found that staying in the SUB-50 campaigns is much better than going into the other ones. Of course, to stay with that, you need a new character every 50 levels.

As for how I portray the game, it is not so much that I want to promote the game in a positive light, as it is that I have no reason to focus on a negative light. I am not going to jump on a wagon that does not reflect my own experiences with the game. I figure I can talk about my experiences, just like everyone else, so I do.

Here, in the forum, everything is about Performance. Ability desync. Lag. Honestly, I am not really having significant problems with any of those three. Yes, I see them, but these are not my top concerns with the game. ZOS knows about these things. They seem invested in fixing performance issues. I have been around for a long time, as have you, and I have watched how ZOS does things. As long as they remain motivated, they will eventually figure out how to cross that finish line. Thus, I leave that to them and go about playing my game. Because, I can.

This game is currently being reinvented in place. If you want stable (edit: an unchanging), this is not your game. They have said, on more than one occasion, that they do not consider this game to be "finished" and that, as an MMO, they intend to continue to build the game. We have learned that this includes core engine updates, and that is what is happening right now.

Yes, it is the 6th year, and I expect that if this game goes to 12 years, they will have done it again.

    Hi there,

    @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom, I hope you are well.

Just to let you know and not forget this forum post as I believe it to be a good indicator regarding the satisfaction of ESO customers (I suspect, but may be wrong that many are from PC EU).

We got over 610 votes and 38% of them said to have cancelled ESO +, 20% said they were considering and 40% said they didn't intend to cancel.

This is still a large amount: 58% of people either cancelling or intending to.

The PVP server lags, skills, crashes and bugs issues concerning PC EU and perhaps PC NA ( NA : I don't play there so I cannot speak for them entirely), should really be addressed as soon as possible. Client voices urge you to address current issues before launching new content, please transfer this information in a board meeting if you feel any attachment to your community and the game itself, it would be real proof you guys do your job with passion.

    Thank you,

    Freya

With the desyncs going on and no fix or even anything resembling professionalism regarding communication from the company I cancelled and ESO+ has expired. I just don't see a lot of evidence that at the management level (Zos or producer Bethesda) there is the slightest care as to if the product works or not.

With a bit or organization I still do crafting dailies without the craft bag and its fine.
