When: At the start of combat in the trial.
Everytime?: Over 50% of the time during primetime raiding hours (7-11pm CET).
What happens: Latency in combat rises to 500ms-2000ms for the entire group. Enemies 'dance' back and forth, becoming desync'd and in some cases become impossible to attack.
Out of 10 how noticeable should this have been to your testing team: 100/10
Just to state immediately that this latency increase is NOT for a single player but for the ENTIRE GROUP.
Time Trials since Update 25, the performance patch, have been diabolical. Especially Cloudrest & Asylum Sanctorium.
Each instance is a gamble between a playable or bugged and unplayable experience. Except there are
a lot more bugged instances comparatively. Latency remains in the 60-80ms range until combat begins at which point enemies begin to dance back and forth, mechanics happen out of sync and incoming damage and healing is delayed.
This is resulting in a lot of wasted time. Here's a clip from vAS+2 highlighting what players are experiencing in these broken instances.
