Need help with potential warning to PS4 users.

    Can confirm the same behavior. Lagging bad when hovering / highlighting ESO app on dashboard. Has crashed me out of PS party creation and severely lags my friends list loading.

    I have the same issue. My girlfriend does too. My 3 friends we play with do.

    We both have ps4 pros and they run like dialup if we try to scroll over the eso game. If we are in the ESO game and try to go to messages/party/friends list or anything home screen related it's slow as dirt.

    Sometimes it freezes and blue screens us to a software error that seems to fix it for a bit.

    We do not have the issue with other games, just eso. We did all of the recommended things and have seen no change. Talked to tech support last night and their final offer was rebuilding the ps4 database. Only one of us has so far and it didn't seem to help at all.

    Eso is on its own more like. Barely been playing and now eso is messing with me when its not even loaded?? cmon.

    Yes. ESO has started lagging my PS4 in the home screen. Confirmed.

    Had 2 replies to my ticket, I like that I say I did all troubleshooting, and then they send that generic "do all this troubleshooting" reply, got it escalated to a "specialist" that'll tell me: "We have no idea, contact Sony."

    I wonder if this has something to do with the extra trophy bar. Why the hell was that put in? Does any other dev do that?

    Oooh yeah that extra trophy section is really odd. Also love how helpful that response was lmao. If you contacted Sony all they'd do is tell you to do all the solutions we've all already tried, and then to contact zos since it's only a problem with their game.

    Placing eso into a folder seems to decrease lag when scrolling through the games menu.

    I keep mine in a folder, this doesn't always prevent it though, you have to be fast to move off the app when closing the game, but even that doesn't always help.

    OMG!!! I just found this!!

    YES my PS4 is doing the exact same thing!!

    Lagging out when I hover over the ESO icon, can't start the game, cant even move off of it some times!

    I first thought my controller was dead, but no it is just crapping out my PS4!

    I thought my PS4 was going bad, but now I see other people are having the same issue!!

    I was able to confirm on my PS4 Pro that it is no longer an issue.

    We just made a few changes on our end. Could you all please check the dashboard and let us know if you're still having the issue? You may need to reboot, if you aren't seeing any change.

    I can confirm the issue while hovering the ESO app no longer exists! Thanks a lot Gina, for fixing it!

    I just tested and it seems to be fixed for me. Both in game and out of game, no more slowness. Thanks Gina. :)
