@Gonadius /played in the chat window will tell you exactly how much for a given character. A little surprised they haven't implemented a /playedAll command yet.172. I've only been playing since the beginning of December, though I think I've put a few too many hours into it.

How can you heal anything with that low CP" The tank left group without us killing a single mob. I have played the healer or some other support class in every MMO I have played for over 20 years.
I have been in leveling and social guilds. Lots of low level players come across this and leave the game in frustration of how new players and lower CP levels are treated. Any time the topic comes up I am going to point this out because new players are what keeps any MMO going. This attitude needs to change.
I think they did you a favor in that case. If you were kicked from a random normal because you were only 330CP on a healer, you dodged a bullet and they saved you 3 key strokes.

And, when they ask dumb ?'s like that, remind them the content is scaled for 160/300 CP's. Then ask them why they need 810 CP's worth of healing unless their suviveability is horrible?
CP's help, but they're not the catch all. I've been in low level groups that burn it up, I've been in max level groups that couldn't kill trash mobs, and I've cleared content I've literally had to walk in the front door to access (because I was not allowed to queue for it yet).
Experience >> CP's, any day of the week.
Personally, so long as the game lets you in the front door, I at least give it to the first pull. A good group will know everything they need to at that point, no matter what CP the members are (or aren't).

I'm CP557 now and I still get people turning their nose up at me on some of the easier Vet dungeons. My reason for saying this is not to look for sympathy but I hope it will help some understand their actions hurt the game and getting new blood to the game. I have been MMOing for over 20 years and I'm willing to stick it out and get 810.
Thats where I get worried about the cap going up. If they raise the cap I sure hope it ends up being for non-combat stuff. This climb to being accepted hurts but I will survive. I worry about the causal gamers. The 810 wall is already an impossible task. Walking in BG, Cyrodiil being the one hit wonder all the time is no fun. Being turned away from vet and trials as you are the weak link in the team. So causal player cant get 810 and can't get the gear they want.
This game needs to shorten the curve to 810 or make anything above say 400 mean very little when it comes to combat. Make the CP be also for something else about a certain point.

CP are front loaded, so the first few hundred mean a lot more than the last. So in essence, we already have that. The difference between 600 and 810 isn't as much as some think. I believe someone did some tests with 500 CP vs 810 CP a while back.
I did the no death and speed run in vBRF with a 377 tank. Our first healer that cleared the speed run with us was 310. The replacement for the no death was 700. Skill is a large factor in this game.

I'm CP557 in full legendary gear, with top glyphs and trated as I should be for Cyrodiil. I'm resto staff and sword and board. I have all my passives I should have and I don't feel anywhere close to even footing. 810 means allot more when your not there lol. Another 5 months I'm sure I will be 810. I will share my thoughts then lol

In Cyrodiil what those folks have is time in Cyrodiill. Some have tons of experience. If you want a level playing field, you can always head to the no-CP campaign or BGs though, but don't expect them to any less ruthless.

I've played since beta but have taken some serious breaks along the way.
The ESO+ enlightenment helps a bit I guess
But my CP count is getting on to being 50% useless now lol.
There has to be a better way than this.
