The block player system in this game is a joke

✭✭✭This is probably the only game I have ever seen that when you block someone, even on the forums too, they still see what you write, and so they can just have their friends copy and paste insults and send them to you, and then when your block list is full you are SoL, why can it not be like every other game where if you block someone they cant see what you say, and vice versa?
Options -> Report Player -> Harassment

Never once have I ever seen a system where once you blocked someone they couldn’t see what you wrote/posted in any game or forum.
Now, I grew up old school and have never had the need or want to block anyone, because imo lol.
But I’ve never seen this to be the case. I’ve seen people who blocked people still be able to read that persons posts if they are quoted by another though.
I agree with most op, if you genuinely feel you are being harassed then report the person.
In this day and age Zos will HAVE TO do something because it’s the age of snowflakes and god forbid one melts.

In SWTOR, you can still see messages from someone who blocked you.0 -

Getting angry and making threads like this probably just make your tormentor happy.
Bringing attention to harassment is what needs to be done, ignoring it and saying whatever is not because it will effect someone else eventually or often.

It's called the Streisand effect and yes basically, you ignore them.
You dont ask bullies to stop bullying you because if they know it gets to you they're going to do it more. The same logic applies to this
Clearly you were never bullied. Ignoring them usually doesn't work. However in this situation I am doing that now, the mods have enough work tomorrow.

Got them kicked out of school and sent to a different one. Punish the guilty. Also took martial arts, just in case. Only had to use it once.0 -

✭✭Not only this, but you still get grouped with them in ques. My girlfriend and I blocked quite a number of really nasty folks when we ran veteran dlc dungeons some time ago. Some time later we saw them again and were really confused. We double checked our lists and found them in there. Not only were we grouped with them again, but they could see our group chat and we could see theirs. Not much of a block player list. We submitted tickets and we never really heard anything back from CS.

As I said after someone explained it to me, it was probably because you blocked ppl per character, so they weren't able to efficiently stalk me, not the case in this game.0 -
