CWC is just so depressing and bleak due to all of the artificiality, dire circumstances, and wanton neglect. I wish there was an option to evacuate the entire zone and then destroy it.6 -

✭✭Clockwork CityThis is a really tough one. Rivenspire is awesome, but as a Morrowind fanboy, seeing the Clockwork City and Seht in all their glory just wins it over for me. I have always loved when the Elder Scrolls series has gone a bit more crazy with its lore, too; it is what sets it apart from other generic fantasies.Struggling to find a new class to call home.Please send help.1 -

Clockwork City’s story lived up to the hype.
The only thing is that Rivenspire is base game and therefore has more activities and facilities.

✭Clockwork CityOh man, these are getting harder and harder! (Well, obviously, but still). Rivenspire is one of the best vanilla zones in the game, IMO, but I just adore CWC too much. It's so unique, and it has Sotha Sil, who is really pretty damn awesome (don't know if I'm alone with this, but I kinda like Divayth Fyr, too), all the factotums, Evergloam... it's an amazing zone all around, one of my absolute favourites, so it wins this round for me.This poor little Bosmer stealth passive had passionate friends and a big loving family!1 -

✭✭✭✭✭Clockwork CityClockwork City has a steampunk fill to it and contains obscure lore references and my favorite member of the tribunal. Rivenspire is amazing and is the only Breton zone that is good but Clockwork City was just too well written and it was when nocturnal seemed great and scary before they turned her into a budget cosplayer in summerset.1 -

I do like Clockworkcity, it looks good, has a decent story and was certainly something very different from the rest of ESO, so very welcome.
But the delvs/quests can be very annoying and time consuming to complete, and the zone can be frustrating to navigate. Im also not really a fan of futuristic stuff in fantasy. I do like the world bosses though.
Rivenspire looks stunning and has a good story.2 -

✭RivenspireI have to go with Rivenspire this time. I LOVE CWC, but interactions with Sil left me bitter at the end. Rivenspire has its nice corners - but it also has vampires you're supposed to like. That's heresy.
And the run-of-the-mill meadow-y parts around Northpoint are pretty... but also pretty boring. 3
