Sick of Templars

I don't even use jabs or crescent on my Templar main, but if this incessant whining continues, I just might.

At the end if the day, even if they do NERF Templars, another class will be overpowered, and you lot will be whining about that instead.

Be careful what you wish for, because, sooner or later, the NERF hammer will be coming for you.

It would help clean up the forums a bit if the people knew that it wasn't tolerated. Just my opinion.
If this was a thread on a cryptic game forums. I can imagine it being. Nerf Thread/Closed. That is what they would do I believe over there.
I do think such a policy could be put into place because its just problematic. Sto Forums have a commonly brought up topics or frequently closed threads policy that bars certain topics if devs have answered them over and over again. Something like that here could maybe help.

I hope they dont do something like that as ZOS would close down every thread about fixing the game and leave the nerf threads for us to have somewhere to rage

Well threads about fixing the game if done in a constructive manner are fine. Its just these rage threads made because someone couldn't handle an ability in a pvp setting that needs to be not allowed because one it either goes down into flaming or people will start to argue about it and that goes no where and can lead to flaming. This forums does a good job at being more open and allowing people to talk and converse but there does need to be limits and well if there are way to many nerf this or nerf that rage because I got killed by someone in pvp by an ability that is annoying to me. Well that is just tough luck accept the death and keep on going. We do have respawns for a reason. This isn't real life a in game death won't kill you. I doubt they will take up the suggestion but I'm suggesting it because well its really by now just a meme. Nerf threads memes and its just gotten out of hand I think on the forums here.

I get the nerf threads are getting more and more but if we ask for them to close down threads they fell they have dealt with to much tho they really haven't just added an bandaid that didn't stick on the issue then this game would never see any true fixes as it takes 5 to 10 trys to find the glue

Templars are not Op templars are good. Why templars seem overpowered is because it relies on Blitzkrieg type of tactic and that overwhelms people. Sadly ZOS took away some stuns that could helped stop a charging templar if encountered face to face even though most of them attack distracted opponents. The Templars jabs are annoying but they are no different or as powerful or devastating as somebody who Gives you the Wrecking blow,LA,Wrecking Blow, LA, at least the jabs can be seen and there is a reason why people use templars usually attack moving around the enemy.

ZoS should't take anything else away from Class and weapon skills but realize they damaged other classes they moment they did.

I don't play much PVP, I just want other heals not to be such a garbage if to compare with templar heal

My main is/was a stamina warden. I finally got my Templar to my CP level and followed Alcasts PvP build.

I’ve played every single class and no class is as fun as stamina Templar because of its move kit. I still get killed by other classes and have weakpoints. But a nerf wouldn’t help anything, they need to make MOST of the classes equally strong and/or have counters (won’t say which class is OP).

However, I understand that some skills shouldn’t need to be so packed. In reality, it’s not the Templar that’s OP, it’s actually the sets like fury then just synergies extremely well with the Templar kit that makes them perform incredibly.

Magplar is a completely different story

Well it depends on your class, each have some sort of option to counter the melee templar abilities. Keep in mind I have NO idea what class you are. I assume you are stamina cause you said vigor. Also just standing still and trying to block all the damage probably isn't the choice to go with so here we go:

Sorc: Streak thru them, Encase, Daedric Mines, Also using the morph of Rune Prison that is cast on yourself and stuns

Warden: Winter's Revenge, Arctic Blast, Could also use heal that pulls you to friendly players to get away

NB: Fear, Shade, Using ambush to gap close to another enemy player

DK: Fossilze, Talons, Chains to chain yourself to an enemy (if you have that morph), Ash Cloud

Necro: Fear, Grasp, Goliath Ult, Avid Boneyard (if you have harmony jewelry)

Templar: Javelin, Gap closer, purify that damages

Could also use FG fear, 2H gap closer (see ambush), 1H gap closer, dodge away, use a vanish potion, 1H bash ability, Magnum Shot knockback, the ever annoying but useful Arrow Spray. If you are close enough to a friendly keep or resource you could also try to get to those and use those NPC's to your advantage... might also get noticed by your group or alliance.

It is a L2P issue, I have mained a Templar since beta, you have no idea how bad it was and what easy mod actually looked liked. Hint Templar was never the easy mode class.

Now the Templar is actually seeing some parity with other classes and people who were used to face-rolling a Templar are asking for nerfs. Really sad actually.

Apparently, he's nearly invincible in PvP, except when he comes up against a Templar.

I play Templar because I like Templar. I played them when they were very much underperforming and I still play them now. If that makes me trash, then I am happy to be so!

You shouldn't let such things get you so down. If it is such a problem for you, I recommend making an anti-templar build; just angle everything towards screwing with Templars, I think that would cheer you up!

Obviously you need to learn to play your class. I have zero problems in fighting against Templar’s. I main a Magdk. One of the , if not the hardest class to master in pvp. Yet I’m able to beat some of the better pvp players, or we just tie and give up. How?
I did research , I listened to the most knowledged players who give pvp tips, builds etc and they teach you how to play. Now I’m able to easily 1vx and I’m happy I learned so much. this post is trash because you fail to make constructive arguments. Not that all players who main Templar’s are trash, they have either a better setup, or are in general a better player than you. You can’t accept that, so you make a rant post about it. Mate, I died numerous times to other players and I felt bad anout it too sometimes. But you gotta learn to get back up your feet and find a way to get better and stronger. I did it so you can too. Yeah, templar is disgustingly OP atm, snare, protect, heal ON EVERYTHNG, what other class gets an AOE DOT ability that benefits from Onslaught? No one. Anyone else get healing and protection baked into everything? No. Templar is the apex of OP, and needs a serious nerf. Even worse you have entire templar groups roamingcyro and BGs lately, its infuriating to say the least.
