1. The population is almost certainly < 500 in prime time, so you're almost irrelevant. Off peak you can often find more people chasing the alik'r dolmens than in your faction.
2. Every time zos have an event to try and entice people into PvP, there's a subset of idiots who go out of their way to make that experience absolutely miserable for anyone dipping their toes in.
3. #2 doesn't help #1.
Ever considered that the majority of the PVP player base has already left?
Ever considered that's irrelevant to what I said above? Deal with current facts.

Ever consider that if they fixed performance that there would be more pvp'rs? Imagine pvp performance in dungeons or trials and tell me how many pve'rs would choose this game over others?
Why is there such a small focus on PVP with these updates?
There’s close to 0 attention being paid to it and this year all we get is a siege weapon...?
What happened to the new daedric items coming into the game like Volendrung?
The new content all looks great I’m all for it and appreciate the efforts, but damn, PVP has been out in the cold for so long now it kinda sucks.
Volendrung didn't go over so well and new content would thin out the PvP population across all the content. Players complain now about the lack of numbers.
Quick question though. What are you looking for that they should add?
I was thinking different ways of sieging, different objectives, perhaps maybe even making the map small to avoid all the running around?
Adding more to the map because with all that running it’s just trees and hills mostly anyway.
Expanding on the PVP skill lines, rewarding/promoting group play in that sense.
The opportunities are endless with Cyrodiil imo

It's not that bad
Because this isn't a PvP focused game and never has been.

no never... the only end game content in EVERY MMO... what u will do when u get tons of gold? tons of best items? u will go and help beginners? u will stay in the middle of craglorn and thinks how good u re? ofc u will make good pvp gear and try urself in fighting with other human being... its the ultimate and non-predictible content of EVERY game!
(edit)
also... ONLY other player can give u unconventional level of difficulty... that's why we re nr1 on earth we live to prove to ourself we can do better and better... and we love challenges... and nothing is more challenging than other end game player.
amen

Everything in ESO is endgame. Ive been playing 3-4 years and i still have A LOT to do. I havent completed a third of the game on my oldest character who has just over 1600 hours of play and is the furthest along. If you think PVP is the only endgame content, it is because you want it to be YOUR only end game content.

Because no matter what they did it would be waist deep in tears from pvpers in here crying for buffs/nerfs more than it already is.

Never have I ever seen a good PvPer (whether it be in zone or PvP guilds) crying about nerfs or buffs. We just suck it up, because we are more flexible.
PVPers do not pay money but complain the most. So why bother?
Not sure why PVE-ers get so salty at the sound of PVP content. You don’t play it anyway so why do you care?
Most of you aren’t good enough for the top end PvE tier or PVP but you’d rather get smoked by an NPC than a player I guess lol

The answer is obvious and it's also what led me to quit about 5 months ago. If you do bgs you'll notice you fight the same 50-60 players over and over. If you do Cyrodiil, you will also notice the same names in the chat every day, and you will fight the same people.
Very few players participate in any sort of PvP. On PC NA there's maybe 1000 people pvping. If the same goes for every platform/region, then the total will be minuscule. If ESO has 200k active subs(my estimate) and only 10k or less pvp, then why should the devs spend so much time on content that is so disregarded and irrelevant to the players?
I realized ESO pvp was never going to be good because pretty much nobody is participating in it. There's no incentive for the devs to put any work into it. The demand isn't there.
I just decided to check on the forums due the expansion announcement, wouldn't be here otherwise.
Again that doesn't change facts. It says you live in an echo chamber and think the handful of people you play with is a significant statistical element.nafensoriel wrote: »
Congratulations you are a rare outlier?
Statistics still don't favor PVPers are money spenders in PVE oriented games.
Every single person in my pvp guild also does pve, housing, and buys crown crates and cosmetics, as well as subs. So again, try again. People that do more than one thing are the majority in this game, not people who hyper focus one single thing.

Best you can see is legionary or something
And I assume they get those by events like MYM
Unfortunately we are not a big portion of the game
