Even if they will get more pen & weapon / spell dmg.

I disagree, as a Breten its very easy for me to use this set even in no CP I can easily sustain with 1700 mag recovery

Game stagnates because of this.

So for those who dont know this is a craftable set
2 – 833 Weapon and Spell Critical
3 – 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
4 – 1487 Physical and Spell Penetration
5 – Adds 481 Weapon and Spell Damage. Increase the cost of your active abilities by 5%.
That 5% increase could most likely be negated with certain passives, and even so 5% isn't alot IMO.
Has anyone crunched the numbers on running this set with 3× infused cost reduction jewelry?
thissocalledflower wrote: »Given that it's craftable it seems like it would be a go to set for anyone just getting their cp were it not for the fact that it takes 9 traits to craft and you need a master crafter to do that for you. By the time anyone gets 9 traits to craft it for themselves, they'll have found better sets to use from dungeons or trials.
given that hundings, mechanical, and sload are 6 trait craftable they are more accessible for one to craft for themselves they seem like more likely choices
For trials the penetration is a wasted set piece. I can reach the penetration floor with 9 CP, something i wont miss. crit can stack and be mulitplied much better than raw spell damage, so a set like mothers sorrow is a much more powerful set. Then you have superior trial sets like perfected sioria and false gods. Lastly you have comparable sets like BSW, spell strategiest etc... soo while yes this set really is a great craftable set its not gonna replace end game builds.
For pvp it will be a 2nd tier set. Strong and loaded with raw damage but no real spice to it.
More than anything this set just shows how poor almost every other craftable set is and how they need to be audited to similarly match NMA.
It looks good but ZoS is increasing the resource cost in general, that 5% may create more problems than you think.
Combining with Bone Pirate or Shacklebreaker? Perhaps. I will not drop my Relequen for this, to be honest.

They're increasing resource cost again!?? I wish I knew this before buying the add-on. I'm tired of this...if it's actually true.

Thats the thing though, every day I see people asking for someone to craft it for them but noone admits to using it. Is it some kind of secret shame?
