I didn't look closely at the guy in Grahtwood to see if he's Altmer or Bosmer, and I usually click through the dialog so fast that I only barely caught that Breda said High Elves. But the quest takes place in Valenwood, right? Also, there's already a quest in Altmer land-- the mud ball merriment in Auridon. And there are nine New Life quests, one for each of the main races except Imperial. So shouldn't the War Orphans quest be a Bosmer quest? Are you saying the orphans are Altmer in Bosmer land? I'll have to read the quest dialog slowly next time.

That does beg the question, how are the Woodelves celebrating New Life? And do we have one for the Imperials?

The Wood Elves celebrate New Life by throwing balls of mud at political figures.
But no, we have none for the Imperials. I guess one way to secure yourself Emperorship is to do it while the rest of Tamriel is too drunk to care.

Imperials seem to be the black sheep of Tamriel since most of them aligned with Molag Bal/Mannimarco or whatever. Would like to see one for Imperials in a later New Life one. Not all Imperials are evil or bad. I know the race is behind a paywall but that doesn't mean they can't have their new life traditions honored.
The high elves would never do something as crude as asking for donations back home! It would be... unseemingly.SeaGtGruff wrote: »When Breda is giving you the quest, she mentions High Elves. But the quest is in Grahtwood. Shouldn't she say Wood Elves?
...aaaand the wood elves really, really WANT to do something as crude as throwing mudballs in the high elves home!SeaGtGruff wrote: »Ah, I've just now been given the mud ball quest, and I see that Breda mentions Wood Elves. So the Wood Elves event is in the Summerset Isles, and the High Elves event is in Valenwood.
I can attest to that!WhiteCoatSyndrome wrote: »ProfessorKittyhawk wrote: »That does beg the question, how are the Woodelves celebrating New Life? And do we have one for the Imperials?

We've been asking for an Imperial quest for years. More or less since the first New Life Festival event occurred. Probably not going to happen.

I've donated enough to the War Orphan's Fund that every Altmer kid should be wearing Louis Vuitton tunics and rocking iPhone 11s.
I found them always easy to tell apart... I mean, the wood elves are there:barney2525 wrote: »It gets confusing because the wood elves are often High elves
