For the event fishing aaaany bait will do, even the simple you buy off merchants (the event merchant npcs always stock them), even though its technically saltwater/wormwater.Edit = Typos ... as usual. <;D0 -

There is an achievement for paying Ormurrel and killing the creatures. I just kill the creatures, paying might be quicker but the gold adds up, last time I checked it was 347 gold, I think it's leveled.
I'll have to pay attention next time but I think that New Life dailies award around 300 Gold each (also leveled of course), so you kinda make your money back.0 -

✭✭✭Snow Bear Plunge (Nord)I find it interesting people think others are faster. This one you sprint to a point leap off do a swim stand by a fire a few sec then dash to the next one. No zone changes no having to talk to multiple people, etc. I can do this quest faster than i can get to the others zones and back.0 -

Keep duplicate fishes & keep even those that you got on alts. If you have all 3 in invetory, you just port directly to the other NPC that wants those fishes & then port back to Breda. Way-shrines are super close so too.0 -

Unseelie✭✭✭✭Of the ones that I have done I would say the Snow Bear Plunge is my favorite but there is something just so fun about The Trial of Five-Clawed Guile (mainly just the flavor text about "what coins?" ) that just hits the mark so perfectly

VelimOrthic✭✭✭Snow Bear Plunge (Nord)Plunge somehow manages to put me in a holiday mood each time I do it. I actually get excited when I see it come up. No shrine, straight north through Windhelm down to the docks. That probably adds 10 or 20 seconds to it but I don't mind.
I also like jumping right onto the bridge from the little hill behind the building at the end of it. It's somewhat of a challenge to pull off.0 -

I never had a problem with the wolves, it was always the wasps. Even this year, wasps can be hard to find, and then when you do find one, somebody runs up and insta-kills it before you can take a swing. I always hit the wasp once, then block it and let it attack me so anyone else who needs a wasp will have a chance to attack it.I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!1 -
