But only because I have the add on which tells me where they are. I hate the old fashioned way of looking at the drawing and working out where it is. It's so vague and not to mention dull. Before I used the add on I would just destroy them or give them to the guild bank.

If there's a chance of something good I'll do them, otherwise I give them away in guild or zone chat.

I only just started using them mainly because I deconstruct the gear and sell or use the rest of whatever is left.

I just listed about 25 Treasure maps for 99ish gold each. I only keep or use ones from zones that have overland sets I like. Bangkori, Deeshan, Rivenspire and Auridon come to mind.

So far, I've kept them all. I have an embarrassing number of alts, so I divide them up according to who is in the area already, and then use them up as I come to them. Basically the same thing I do with surveys. There's usually nothing I particularly want in them, but I mostly use the contents for deconstruction, because I'm a mat hoarder. And I can always use a little handful of extra gold if I'm in the area anyway, so why not?

However, with all the events this past year, the maps are starting to pile up a bit, so I've been considering selling a few in the guild store.

Cyrodiil maps have quite a high change for Alliance page motifs. Those sell for several thousand gold or more if you get pages for big pieces like chest, head, legs etc. Also prices for zone set gear are sometimes high. I remember selling a Cyrodiil's Light inferno staff for 40K once. I usually pick them up on characters whose alliance base is the closest to the respective locations. For IC master writs you don't actually need to go to IC, just join a guild that has those craft stations in their guild hall, or simply check the price on MM/ATT/TTC and sell them on stores.

I use them. If I have a character who is completing that map I'll give the treasure maps to them to use as and when they come across the location. If not I'll save them until I have lots and feel like using them, then one of my characters will have a 'chill out' day going around using them all.

I only keep the ones in zones where good gear or motifs can drop (Wrothgar, Elsweyr, Deshaan, Rivenspire...)
