Female Orcs are too pretty in ESO imho.

This game unfortunately, the only way I've found to make a proper plus sized plump woman is to make a man and put him in a dress.

    Aww orcs <3

I like both of the characters you made, maybe female orc a little more. So if I had to choose just one of them, hmm, I'd feel like I missed out on something after all :)

I suggest to just make them both and then play a bit. You can always enhance your backstory to fit two characters in it (for instance, create a relationship for them, brother- sister, father - daughter, or just two strangers from different clans meeting each other and becoming friends / lovers).

You can choose another class for one of them, I'd say a dragonknight or a warden can be a good fit as well, one being a mighty strong warrior and another a protector or nature and living things, for example. This will also enhance your gaming experience, trying out two classes instead of one.

And if you are unhappy with one of them in the end, well... the world of Tamriel is full of dangers! You can always roleplay that 'delete character' moment as them falling in battle, leaving a trail of fond memories and adding up to a personal drama in your other character's head ;)

Orc is my least favourite race because of their specific mouth, but I do have one orc character.

I pick male gender for orc cause of two simple reasons: orcs are one of the tallest races (together with altmer and nords), and I absolutely love two male voice options for male orcs :) One option is especially awesome, my character has very low voice and scary growls. If only it would be possible to pick this voice for all my characters, of all races and genders :'(

As others wrote, female orcs in ESO stand firmly in the cute monster territory, which works perfectly with Jester Queen Ayrenn less so for a warrior character, so I'd go with the male one

I'm a new player to the game, and at the moment I'm sitting and staring at the character creator trying to decide whether I want to play a male or a female orc templar, as I'm the sort of indecisive person who will go into the game, play about five minutes, consider what might be cooler about the other option, go back, remake as said option, play five minutes, repeat ad nauseam. When faced with this problem, I like to go around and ask opinions from the community for what they feel would be more interesting or cooler or just whatever opinions they might have on option A vs. option B.

Now I understand why Orsinium won't ever be great and why are those Orcs wear pink female dresses ;). I hope you won't ask what trousers we prefer to see on your alter ego since you're so uncertain in such matters and depend on the public opinion :D. No offence man, I just don't think the Orcs' culture really feats you. Your approach won't lead you to sanctuary, your inner peace, because all your play sessions might become an infinite row of trial and errors in spite of the poll results. Nevertheless I wish you good luck with it and hope you'll finally make your own decision based on your personal choice to actually play the game instead of playing the character creation screen.

I like my female orc, she looks far less ugly than she would in Skyrim or Oblivion (frankly, in Oblivion everybody looks extremaly ugly...). But your quick character "dossier" just fits male better imo. I'm not saying females can't implement justice with axe, but from my life experience it's more male thing... Plus - females are in majority more chaotic than lawful (not all of them, but even the most lawful female I know is chaotic at heart).

Quite like female Orcs. Have two Dragonknight tanks where their passive skills match the class.

For Templar, Orc is not ideal but can work as a Stamplar.

On my new account my first character is a female Orc. She will be the crafter there. A Templar as I'm familiar with the class, but she will not be doing a lot of overland content once she reaches level 50. Probably running around harvesting, collecting overland skyshards and simple delves.

You can role play in guilds, with very little fighting, but when you say roleplay do you mean just a concept/ethos behind your character? If the latter Dragonknight may be better?

Love the Wrothgar content and quests. Done it several times and found it lots of fun.

    Which option would :you: pick?

Ultimately it comes down to your personal preference. If you're a male in RL your better off playing a female. Because of the fact females in RL tend to play males in the game mostly. So I would keep that in mind too.

That was sort of the idea. I've been doing a looooooot of class/race research the past few days just to try and optimize where I can as far as those things go. Figured tanking would be a possibility as well.

By roleplay I mean going out into the world and actually roleplaying. Typically there's a separation where you're playing the game and thinking about mechanics and all that, and then after you sit down in some tavern or find a guild and roleplay out your own stories with them.

I just wanted to take the opportunity to say I've appreciated very much everybody's feedback. It's been really helpful and insightful.
