✭We had Midyear Mayhem in January this year.
That was an encore event, put in so that people could get one of the berries they were putting out (they even said it themselves when the event launched). Tons of people were waiting for the actual Midyear to roll by to come back for PvP, and not only did they cancel on us, they gave us the most tedious of events to replace it with (Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood dailies), which IMO was a bigger slap to the face than just cancelling it outright.3 -

✭✭✭✭✭We had Midyear Mayhem in January this year.
That was supposed to be a bonus bone they threw to PvP players that year, as well as another chance for the PvE players who were complaining about PvP in a PvP zone to have another chance at the event. (Berry)
It wasn't supposed to BE the event, else they wouldn't have had to cancel anything in the first place.
