NA server. Sorry for not specifying. So some people are doing just fine and some people cant get past the first loading screen, yay.darkkterror_ESO wrote: »NA or EU server? I just logged into the NA server less than 30 seconds ago and the process went smooth as silk.
Short answer: Yes.
I'm planning on spending the next couple of days doing something other than ESO at this point. Hopefully it will all get fixed soon. I'm not bothering to ask for compensation, since I'm sure that they will be giving out extra game time to make up for all this. I'm just logging in occasionally for crafting research and to feed my horse.
Well it seems they didn't find the problem yesterday but simply made it playable for a few hours... im currently stuck in one of those infinite loading screens on NA server that i got after the game crashed in cyrodiil I guess once i'm in ill get outta cyrodiil for a while since thats the only place that i get those infernal loading times...

Wait, are you being sarcastic? I hope you are because if you aren't, then you're going to be disappointed. I will be shocked if ZOS offers any kind of compensation for this down time. They've proven time and again that they will not go out of their way do things like this.

Actually, no, they haven't. The game has been up for 2 weeks (including early access). That's hardly enough time for them to "prove time and again" about anything. And in that time they have been giving refunds to those that want it, and they have given out extra early access time to those affected by issues in early access. So, they have actually shown they *are* willing to do what is right.
My bank was emptied, like many people, and has been reset to 60 slots. 60 of the items are back in, and the other 10-20 items I lost are possibly in my character inventories (as I've heard has happened with others). I haven't received my extra slots of money back, but as their customer service response said they are working on it and they aren't lost. I will get them back once the problem is solved.
So, what I seriously expect once the issue is sorted, is to get my bank slots back, my banked money back, and extra game time. I really doubt that won't happen. Zenimax hasn't actually been evil at all in the last two weeks. They're having issues, but they are dealing with everything as I would expect (though they may need to pick up some more Customer Service personnel to keep up with the current demand)
game let me in finally. had to run a patch on startup. some reason it let me skip it the first time

Apparently eso.live.1.0.0.964485 is the wrong one?

maybe he's running from the .exe file not the launcher?

Ahh.. ok.Yes, you can do that. I did it hours ago to get past the errors.
