    Just got home from work.

    Tuesday, patch day.

    Largest game breaking bug in game.

    Not resolved as of yet?

    Now I am very worried.

    Let us not hope that it is hard coded into the way the sharding/phasing/mega server architecture/coding is. It could be this is not currently fixable and will take some serious work to resolve.

    I wonder if character information is backed up? Having it backed up would be good. Having the ability to easily and quickly retrieve the archived backup to replace lost items would be even better. Having this problem persist for another week and affect thousands of more accounts would be awful.

    Friday my wife found the thread with a link that said submit a ticket here if you have this issue. So I logged a new ticket on the website, thinking that perhaps in game tickets are just being ignored (it would go along with the rest of the terrible responses I have gotten). I also logged a phone call back request. About 2.5 hours later I get a call back. It was during this phone call that I was threatened.

    Simply ridiculous. The only upside to this is that I happen to work in Customer Service at a software as a service company. We all had a good laugh and used my experiences here as an example of the worst way you could ever handle an issue that is tough to resolve.

    Oh wow... that was pretty bold. If it were me, I'd send that information up so they can coach the support agent. Even if that is how they feel, they can find a better way to express it.

    I manage a team of Technical Analysts who do a lot of phone work. We have been discussing this and learning from it as well.

    Not all bugs are picked up during beta. And as a matter of fact, this wasn't a bug in beta at all... as far as I can tell, it only became a bug on the official 4/4 release.

    Directly above your post is a post that includes a quote from someone who experienced the bug in beta. There are more around the forums. So the bug did exist in beta.

    Although I didn't personally experience it then (the bug didn't hit me until early access), I recall beta players talking about it in chat. They were of course immediately stomped on by others with the usual "this is beta, not the latest build, won't go live" stuff I've heard in every late beta/stress test of every game I've played lately in the past few years. In my experience, the bugs always go live.

    Why the increase in incidents and severity after launch? Larger numbers of players, patch not properly regression tested was applied, hardware not used in beta... I don't know. It could be many things.

    I have also lost all my bank upgrade slots, and all the items that were in them. I did not get any emails on the two tickets I submitted for this issue. I don't see an option anywhere to look up submitted support tickets. Is there no option to review status of these support requests?

    Submitted another ticket 140415-030786.

    Lost all skillpoints, and 90% of personal inventory and bank items. Toon has no gear and no skills, currently unplayable.

    4 days now without so much as an ETA. my active ticket was supposedly "escalated" 2 days ago.

    Yeah, I had one opened for the same issue. # 140403-025958

    I have no idea if the items in those 10 slots vanished, but I know I was shorted the 1000G as I had to buy the slots again. I reported the same incident happened during beta.

    The ticket response I got after a couple of "We wish to apologize that it has taken such a long time to respond":
    We will assume your issue has been resolved if we do not hear from you within 120 days.

    If your issue has not been resolved, you can respond directly to this email. We look forward to working with you again should you need us!

    Why would you buy the slots again? This is mostly likely going to keep happening until it's fixed. Then you're just going to get more mad when THOSE slots disappear (along with the items in them).

Those of us who are missing slots are SOL. We will have to re-buy them now. But I will wait a few days before I do so to be sure the issue is in fact resolved. It's sad they are just leaving us twisting on this one. It is certain to cost them subs and that's bad for all of us.

    There was nothing in the patch notes about the bank issue. So, unfortunately it's still a rumor until it comes from a Dev that it's alright to start purchasing upgrades again.

Those of us who are missing slots are SOL. We will have to re-buy them now. But I will wait a few days before I do so to be sure the issue is in fact resolved. It's sad they are just leaving us twisting on this one. It is certain to cost them subs and that's bad for all of us.

    In fact there's a post by Jessica stating it is NOT fixed in this patch but they are working on it, and it may necessitate another maintenance this week to apply the fix.

    Not that I'm holding my breath.

    Yes, I did receive a respec for my skill points but I am STILL MISSING ALL OF MY GEAR AND BANK INVENTORY.

    I am missing 20 bank slots. I am unsure if I lost any items when the bank slots went missing. My status was set to "solved." I am still missing 20 bank slots post-patch. I refuse to buy new bank slots at this time because I'm afraid it will just happen again.

    This is the third time I have sumbitted a ticket on this issue and have yet to be contacted. On 4/12 My bank shrank from 90 slots to 60 slots. I reported it, and did not get a response. The patch today was supposed to fix the missing bank slot issue, mine are still missing. I have a 60 slote bank instead of 90.

    I have not even got a "canned" email. My ticket #s are:

    And they have the email address right because I got a ton of support emails last week when I was bothering to report gold sellers.

    I am really miffed at this point. No feedback from the customer support staff or developers at all.

    After patch Im still missing my 80 slots that got wiped 2 weeks ago, and then the 90 slots that got wiped last week as well as my 1,500 gold I had in my bank.

    I have 4 tickets out for this. Not sure if they closed them or not being as I have been reporting gold spammers like crazy, and my email has been overloaded with mail from Zenimax.

    It would be great if there was a way to look up all your open tickets with numbers and the description.

    My most recent ticket (submitted today) is 140415-035676.

    I don't care so much about the items lost, but the gold spent for the initial 80 slots, then the gold spent for 90 slots (12,000 or so gold) is what I want back.

    Just happened to me a second time!

    Luckily I've been following this thread and knew not to buy more slots or deposit gold. But think about the thousands of players who haven't been warned. ZOS you are being incredibly irresponsible.

    This happened to me twice. Both tickets were marked as solved without any sort of compensation or actual resolution.
