For vet content you will struggle. You should run better gear if you are going to be playing with others and just switch back when not.
I wouldn't recommend maelstrom with that low of damage, but if you can sustain and do the mechanics flawlessly I suppose you might be able to make it through.

aint asking how to be more meta (stronger) am asking what content is 15k good or okey with
I am afraid I have to dissapoint you, but I do not think that 15k DPS can get you through vMailstrom.
Have you tried normal Maelstrom Arena yet? How is it going for you there?
You say it yourself: You know what you have to do to get more DPS, so my advice would be: Just change the gear to maximum DPS to beat vMaelstrom, it really is quite hard untill you get to know it better. Every edge you can get matters.
Once you have beaten vMaelstrom, you can change back to your less optimal build to quest and do overland content.
I mean there is the 1-bar pet sorc build that only does like 10k dps. So dps is really not the issue in vMA. It is learning the mechanics. If people can post videos of beating vMA while only using bash, then the answer is that you can beat it with anything once you learn mechanics. Just get in there, start practicing it, and bring a lot of soul gems lol

Now i have stopped caring about Trails and vDLC so was wondering is 15k (can do 19k max) alot or atleast okey for all conent exept vet-dlc and vet-trails but like vMealstorm is something i plan to do very soon and what about nDLC ?
Don't do it.
Let ZoS realise that forcing people into set builds is not good.
