Game wants to Install after patch (NA)
Downloaded and installed the patch. Closed the launcher because I was doing something else. Re-opened the launcher. I have only an "Install" button. What is happening?

Thanks for the reply. I have relaunched several times same result. I have mo repair option in either settings - launcher or in Game options (only Install and settings) is there a way to trigger repair another way?0

Ayradyss✭✭I had this problem, not this patch, but the patch previous to this one. The only solution I found was to completely uninstall the game, delete any leftover files and reinstall.

This is not a new bug. It has happened to me twice. It is caused by 3 files that have been deleted from your system.
The 1st time it happened to me I downloaded the 3 files from link provided by the guy who had solved the problem. They are 3 small manifest files. Without those files being present the game thinks it is not installed, and hence only gives you the install option. No repair etc options available.
Of course, when I first got this error I clicked on the install option - only to be told that I did not have 60 gig free. Just as well then that I found the solution.
The second time it happened I had prepared as I ALWAYS back up the ESO main directory so if a patch screws I can redo it.
See http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/comment/538381/#Comment_538381 to get the missing 3 files. Page 7, 9th post (if I counted correctly). This has the links to the 3 missing files. Download them and place as appropriate, This is a EU fix. If you are NA then the directory will be The Elder Scrolls Online/... and not The Elder Scrolls Online EU/....
Note. This will only work if you have not tried to do a fresh install. If you have then you are screwed beacause the launcher will have removed ALL you game files.

Opened launcher
It immediately started downloading 22G
Closed launcher
Reopened launcher
It automatically started a repair
After the repair was finished I have to download 5G but it is going super slow at about 400kb/s.
Fingers crossed this works
