Er, that second last option was meant to be more along the lines of "Because of the Treasure Trove, I'm not getting Elsweyr"

    I got Elsweyr once I saw what people were getting from the Treasure Trove
    My girlfriend did this once she saw me loot all the crap from it lol.

    Like the other chapters before it, I picked it up once I could find a copy for less than $20 as that is the limit of what I'm willing to pay for an ESO chapter.

    I play one MMO at a time and while I play, I am all in. The day I pass on an expansion is probably the day I'm quitting for good... no halfway for me.

    I preordered Elsweyr because ZOS does a GREAT job on that sort of content. Morrowind, Summerset, and Elsweyr were well worth the money. I can’t wait to preorder the new chapter next year.

    All that being said, IF I didn’t already own Elsweyr, it would be well worth it to get it at HALF price, JUST for the treasure trove alone...throw in the HOUSE, fighting dragons. It’s a steal of a deal.

    Sometimes, we ALL get caught up complaining about various aspects of the game. However, we should take the time SOMETIMES to thank ZOS for the game we all enjoy.

    I was going to get Elsweyr, but I was waiting to decide for sure until after the treasure trove became available. I misread and thought the sale ran through to the end of the event (last year during Summerfall it did, and then for a while afterwards). So after thinking about it a bit, and considering the Treasure Trove rewards, I finally decided I would get it. I went to go buy it on my two accounts and - nope. The sale is over, the upgrade is now $40 again just for the base version, not even for CE. I wish it had been made more apparent when the sale ended - I went and looked, and there weren't many mentions of it. I only found two on the site (there may have been more on Twitter and such, but I don't have Twitter, so that's not helpful).

    i know few players who eager for loot boxes and they ask about will they get boxes if they buy Els now. It's kinda sad.

    I got Elsweyr when it first went to sale. I expected it to be all surface and not much of substance. And it fulfilled my expectations.
    I play this game for casual fun (and it is just fine for that) not for rewards. Maybe if performance gets fixed I'll l2p semi hardcore, for casual fun.

    Ironic that as soon as the charity event was announced there was a thread about how ZOS should be "purely charity" about this event and not try to monetize it with Elsweyr sales.

    Ah that charity. Had completely forgotten it. Not trying to troll disrespect for wellbeing of cats (I have had several cats from kitten to grave) but did anyone honestly care what happened to it?

    If it had been something like supporting starving children at Timbuktu, I'd actually been slightly disgusted for using charity as marketing PR.

    Already had it. Is this thing supposed to give daily rewards or something? Am I missing something? It looks pretty and all, but I hadn’t noticed it doing anything.

    Elsweyr zone has XP Boost until end of event. (Gold boost may or may not also happen.) Event reward is claimable at Crown store for free.
