Allow mounts in large open space housing.

I've been looking at Moon-Sugar Meadow for a possible purchase but have decided against it as the size is just too large for walking only. With these large properties that are open space we really should be allowed to ride a mount. It has become all the more important with the time reduction for Major Expedition having slowed foot travel even further.

    Absolutely. Why have, for example, crafting stations in a big house when it takes you longer to run inside than use one of the station hubs like Vivec, which is really convenient from a wayshrine.

    I don't follow your reasoning 2nd person. you can port immediatly to a house too (and can have all set stations too)

    Yes but without anything more than sprinting, for the really big houses like Psijic, you either put the stations or services near the entrance or you might as well port somewhere else.
    Of course if you're making a crafting hall with stations that create sets, that's different. But the general case for services is, it's not worth the effort.

    Same with storage boxes. Big house or little house, doesn't matter to me -- I put it right at the entrance. I'm not wasting my time sprinting a half minute and transitioning into a building just to get at my storage box.

    Now if they let us shift the entrance point, that would be even better.

    I'm sure housing / furnishing enthusiasts don't understand where I'm coming from. I'm not into housing myself -- I just use my houses to get at my storage boxes. The lack of time-convenience makes me less likely to waste time decorating / placing things "nicely".

    I get what you’re saying @Dusk_Coven , I try to place my crafting stations and storage coffers near the entrance/exit too.

    I want to be able to run in and out quickly for those times I’m not crafting and decorating the house, just deconning gear or refining mats.

    Ehm, I'll just drop the info. For all these more into housing, who like convenience @R_K has created a function in Essential Housing Tools add-on to summon all your storage boxes and assistants to your location (unsommoning returns them to their original location). You can have it convenient without compromising your design ;)
    But yeah, PC.
