I presume more new furnishings will follow over the coming weeks PTS cycles.
I have every confidence that the design team is going to add more than the current offerings. Especially given that this year of dragon theme has allowed them reuse so many assets.
The q4 story DLC has traditionally been good for new furniture items so I look forward to seeing the rest added over the coming weeks.
I took a hard look at Lucky Cat's Landing, and I feel that it falls into the medium house category. Sure, there are medium houses, even in base game, that are a bit large to adequately decorate with 400 slots, but this house doesn't seem to me to be any bigger than Velothi Reverie. The exterior of Lucky Cat is certainly larger, but the interior is definitely smaller. There are only 4 room inside, plus a small porch. There are connecting hallways that might make it appear larger, but most of the rooms aren't really any bigger than the ones in Velothi Reverie, and Velothi also has the main entrance room plus a basement, in addition to it's four rooms (plus it has the small balcony overlooking the main hall that connects the upper rooms).
I appreciate that they are offering us a modest-sized home and I'll be picking this one up once it's available. Now, one can argue that 400 slots isn't enough for this medium home and a number of the base-game medium homes, but this home does not seem to me to be much bigger than Velothi Reverie or, say, Ald Velothi.
I do agree about the mold in this home - I do wish it could be scaled back a bit. I also agree about the lack of variety in the Elsweyr homes vs. Morrowind. But I think Summerset had a lack of variety, too. Inn room and townhouse were in the same style. Even the Villa was largely the same style (though the exterior was a ruin and it had a weird ruin room in the back). Only the grotto was really different.
As for the Potentate's Retreat - loved the exterior and even the interior, but it's just way too large for me.
Oh, and as for the comment about the Snowglobe, I don't recall anywhere ZOS saying that they were going to address our request for more medium homes by giving us medium sizes with large size item limits. I think the globe was an anomaly in that it was the holiday-themed home but it wasn't available for gold like the cottage was. What I heard from ZOS was that they would give us more medium homes, period - not with larger item limits.
I'm torn regarding no new furnishing plans this update. On the one hand, I like collecting new plans and seeing new styles, but on the other hand, this will save me some gold. I still have a handful of base game plans that I don't know, in addition to a few CWC, Murkmire, and Elsweyr plans (no to mention all the purple Dwarven and Ayleid plans). I can take a breather with this update on farming new plans and gold to buy said plans. The reason I don't have all of the plans is that there is a limit to what I will spend on an unknown plan, so some have still eluded me. But, maybe if I'm not having to farm/buy a new set of plans, I can spend a bit more to get the ones I still don't have. This is a selfish reason, of course, and that's not to say that I don't want new plans, as I always enjoy seeing a new batch. Perhaps they could provide some new plans that are still Elsweyr - I don't think we have plans for every single Elsweyr furnishing, so there may be some they could add even though the new zone is in the same style.

Lucky Cat is considerably bigger than Velothi Reverie. The rooms are bigger inside, and the outdoor space is several times bigger.
It's more closely comparable to large houses like Mistveil Manor, Stay Moist Mansion, Quondam Indorilia, Dawnshadow, etc. (it's bigger than some of those).
Increase houses slots please ; we are asking since years. At least special furniture, mounts etc. (Awesome new furniture ; but all houses are full already ; personally, after buying dozen of crown houses, I decided I won't anymore until Zos listen to us about this main issue)
I like the mold on Lucky Cat - it's unique and should stay.

How about an episode of eso live that JUST evolves around housing?
You have given us a time frame for performance updates and skill reworkings. You must have plans concerning housing for the coming months or perhaps even years. There's a ton of great ideas and possibilities around, and also concerns and fears from the community. Give us goals! Give us something to look forward to!
Why do you do what you do right now with housing? Why do you explain some things and then do something else despite of it (few slots, big house)? Why does it seem that you give housing even less thought than in the previous years (seeming lack of new furniture/blueprints etc)? Is it a database thing?
Everything would be better than just dropping us some stuff and not comment and not react to it, not inform and not communicate the way it is done right now. You leave us wildly guessing, our feedback flows into a great void, this is causing frustration. Don't mistake the mostly calm, polite and factual feedback as costumer satisfaction.
We do feel neglected, we feel unheard - show us that you listen!
Work with us, explain us, share with us. That would be very much appreciated.
I just checked out wing 3 of the Hall of the Lunar Champion and am globally pretty disappointed.
Overall it is MUCH smaller than the previous wings.
It uses the moldy, low res broken down textures that are in Lucky Cat Landing, and in the small house there it is *especially* unfortunate looking.
The outer fences are WAY too high and make it difficult to appreciate the only good thing about this wing, which is the view.
The entire exterior is extremely broken down and ugly. Shards of wood fencing, uneven slats, bits of garbage nonsense here and there.
This is a deeply disappointing final wing for the Hall. When I saw the datamined image for the 3rd wing I was pretty excited for a nice, pristine little hut on a hill with a porch, but literally the first thought I had when I got there was "how do I cover this garbage up?"
Please, PLEASE at the very least use the clean, high res textures from Anequina, and not this moldy, low quality nonsense from Pellitine.
And if youve any love for your housing community at all, please clean up that yard/porch so it doesnt look straight out of an abandoned house photo series. There are so many lovely architectural assets to choose from, and we get the abandoned jetty tile set for the much anticipated final wing?
Please do us the courtesy of making this last area look at least somewhat presentable.

There is probably a way to work around the fence. And is the view obstructed when being on the porch? (going by the impression I got from the mined pic)
