Oh right nevermind I forgot Doshia and crafted food price was a higher priority.
As someone who was making far less crafting food than sitting in a cave farming greater soulstones. I guess that means you WANT me to farm caves with the rest? I mean I called food sales being nerfed and could necro the very post. But seriously that was a higher priority than caves and hireling farming? What a joke.

GossiTheDog✭✭✭✭✭I would rather they fix game breaking main quest bugs than cave farming. Everybody has their own view on things, ultimately.2 -
Kyosji✭✭✭They can't do much to fix it at the moment, and they openly said multiple times that it was not against the rules to farm the bosses in there. I never had an issue with cave farming. Makes things easier for me to find the loot I need when you have others taking the bosses HP down for you.2 -
Daverios✭✭✭✭There is nothing in game breaking it more currently than caves and hireling farming. And yes that includes broken VR quests that 15 people are stuck on. Needs of the many and all that.
My issue is tthy fixed the least game effecting method of farming provisioning, before they even address the one EVERYONE AND THIER GRANDMOTHER is complaining about.
This means they give a rats behind about what players care about and are completely unable to react to it in a reasonable manner.
I for one am not resubbing until caves are fixed and have 2accounts in a cancelled status. This is literally make it or break it for me and im certain many many others.Edited by Daverios on April 15, 2014 2:25PM0 -

Dude, there are bugs where the game literally doesn't work for some people. For example, if you respawn in PVP you often get stuck at loading screens all night. Here's how to deal with cave farming - hit the boss, move on.3 -

Nohvin✭Dungeon farming is not a new thing. Granted, it's a colossal pain in the ass to get credit for the boss if you're not there to farm. But currently it's a great way to get loot to deconstruct or sell as well as soul gems (because they can get expensive, especially at lower levels)
Botters are the -real- problem, and they're working on it.1 -
The nerfing of the crafted food will significantly affect the gold farmers though. I can easily see how bots running through a well stocked taverns could easily rake in the gold faster than boss farming. My Provisioner alt was easily paying for all of my other toons just with crafted food, and that was me just playing 2-3hrs a day. Farmers must having been really cashing in... and based on some of the botting I reported seeing in the taverns I think Zen realised that too.
As for the needs of the many by @Daverios this is exactly that - the needs of the many unfortunately outweighing the few stuck on VR quests. I get the impression that the gold farmers/buyers/bots/invsi-farmers are slamming Zen's CS with tickets from the community, taking away from the time and resources CS could be using to pop in and help stuck players or deal live with broken quests.The only negative experience in ESO is those that make it negative.0 -

exactly, and if there aren't bots you can just /say /yell and ask to get a few hits before people wail on them. plenty of players will lay off. I would sacrifice 1 chance at loot if it helped a few players get the achievement or complete a quest and move on. not that this ever happens since bots are everywhere.

It might sound crazy to you but some of us play the game to actually play the content and not just breeze through for easy credit.
If people want to farm a cave all day we say let em! But ONLY in thier own instance or phase and not mine! I do NOT pay 15$ to watch you farm while I am trying to play. So obviously we have different goals and opinions so they only solution is to seperate us. (Or make caves pvp flagged so I can gank ya).

I apologize in advance, but all i read from that was, give me give me give me give me. I'm only level 19, but i have had no trouble getting in dungeons and snagging my achiev, and even getting some good loot as well. get 1 hit in and your fine.

You missed the part where I paid my money for as 'expected as advertised' ie. Heavily instanced mega server ... which currently it is not. Then came give give give.

Maybe to you it is not, but to me I have had no problems with dungeons, sorry to say. All you gotta do is get one or 2 hits on the boss and boom, there is your achiev. Don't look for trouble where there is none.
Also, just try to take out a public dungeon boss your level by your lonesome. They're designed for multiple people.0 -

You would rather spoil the fun of other people so that you can stop seeing something that normal people don't get upset about. Just because there are "Thousands" of people who are bugged by it, doesn't me that there are thousands more that could care less.
Stop doing the dungeons is a pretty easy solution if you seriously can't look away like a deer in headlights.
lol this is probably one of the saddest threads I have ever read about. There are people experiencing real game blocking bugs, and you would rather pull away resources for something that isn't even a problem.

There are bots swarming some of the delves. Wander into the wrong one and you'll have a hell of a time trying to land a hit on the boss before they croak. For some players, dealing enough damage to even get credit for the kill is a serious struggle.0 -

There are lots of bots, and the way to tell is if they stand in the same spot without ever moving, using basic attacks.
There are also people like me who get bored waiting for respawns and /lute =P
It's pretty easy to tell who's a bot and who's a player.
When in doubt, send them a tell, someone watching the screen -will- respond.

A couple problems. Stephen Fry was talking about oversensitivity to perceived slights, not gold farmers who are actively sabotaging other player's experiences, so they can then turn around and sell their gains back to others in something that almost resembles really ineffective extortion tactics.
Second, we're not talking about other players having fun in their own way. If it was just legitimate players grinding a boss that'd be fine, we're talking about the swarms of goldseller bots who are actually blocking progress for some players.Edited by starkerealm on April 15, 2014 3:14PM0 -

There decision is based upon the comments of the people offended by people who farm bosses. The Gold farming is a distraction to the reality. They will farm gold in other ways, mainly harvesting nodes as this is much more profitable.
I'm happy to say I farm bosses and so far I have not seen one bot, maybe I'm unlucky but you would think that someone who actually spends time in Dungeons doing farming would spot these mythical Bots..... I have seen the Bots that do the Zone Chat Advertising, I have seen the node farming Bots, or some I have seen for a second before they vanish to the next node! yes I have reported them...

Create an alt, skip tutorial, head towards crafting stations with them, deconstruct high level items to gain rank 3 in woodworking, clothing and blacksmith, put the three skill points you have in the three hirelings rank 1, log in each 24 hours, claim the bags with your main, repeat until all of your character slots are full. you get 8 containers of each profession per day, with high chances of rare crafting ingrediants. Got me 3 - 4 legendarys of each profession the past week.
