When we say base game dungeons are easy it doesn't mean we want to stay still for 5 mins and do dps on same boss. Lowering dps will just increase the combat lenght, and I'm pretty sure standing still dpsing is not fun for anyone. Compared to dlc dungeons, base game dungeons lack of mechanics and they are straight forward thats what makes them easy.

not really as a tank you can literally taunt the bosses and go afk on base dungeons, i completed every single dlc dungeon achievements and i know that they are capable of making great dungeons. On base game there maybe 3-4 boss fight that will require paying attention to whats going on but all the others are just stand still and attack

I'm not one of those people complaining about the base game diffuculty. I am telling that decreasing dps is not a solution for that. I dont care if the FG 1 is easy or not i didn't get my dps to 101k just to do base game dungeons.
In my opinion keep adding hard dlc content and i dont really care how easy the base game is.
You and I conflict on a different subject I'm telling decreasing dps will only make them boring it is not a decent solution. I hope we come to an agreement.

you dont and never have needed 100k+ dps and there are plenty of ppl that still struggle with the content as it is, i will however concede to your point that something needs to be done for those who play at the higher end of the game but not so as to make that content out of reach for the average player, maybe a new scaling system at max cp or a new "vet mode" that can only be accessed if all group members are max cp, increasing mob health and base resistances, faster mechanic tics, increased boss damage ect ect

I agree on the new vet mode idea, decreasing dps just for the sake of making game harder would be a lazy and cheap solution and I'd say keep the base game for casual players

PvE is way to much dps related.
If you nerf dmg, overland become harder but thing like God slayer become impossible.
They need to get ride of this stupid design.
Hard content should be hard because of mechanic and with a minimum dps.
90k dps shouldn't be a requirement for high success.
That why tank and heal are useless outside or vTrial or some DLC hm.
Make a different stat for healing so DPs can't heal like crazy like it is on live.
Make hard hitting attack not dodge-able so DPS can't tank by spamming roll dodge.
etc..
It's just simple logic and common sens.
I'm a healer main since my 1st MMORPG and here I just start to give up on heal. We're not needed.
Most of the time I'm just a buff bot, boring af, that not what I look for when I'm healer.
Have you even play healer on older game ? We had to be fast, reactive, mobile, the feeling was incredible.
Here it's just boring. Spamming stupid short buff like prayer and slow ball for sustain awww so intense..
I currently build a tank warden who can heal, gonna be way more efficient for most content with 1 tank/heal+ 3 dps.
And I'll give him some dps set/ability for the solo content.
Since I've do most of vT and some HM, I just feel disappointed how easy it is for healer or tank.
It's like this game is only made for dps player..
And these player still complain every time on the forum...
The base design of this game is wrong.
