Probably not. I currently use over 50 add-ons. Some of them I consider necessary for enjoying the game.

I'd still play, since I run a very light addon load in PVP due to performance.

    It would be disappointing though.

I have a lot of respect for the console players. I couldn't play without addons. Especially Dressing Room.
My #1 wish for ESO Today: Decouple achievements from character progress and tracking.

Im Not really sure wether id continue or Not. Cuz i got a lot of addons, Like about 30 - 40 probly and lots of those are kinda necessary imo and i rly cant Play without some.
On the other hand i rly love eso and might actually try to play without just cuz i Love it that much.
I would have to learn some things again tho, cuz rn i couldnt play without LUI cuz i only use the LUI attribute bars, as well as the ability timers (or whatever that is called) and cant really imagine playing without

I play on PC and don't use a single add-on. Thus it would be of no consequence to me if add-ons were no longer supported - provided any changes to the base UI resulting from the removal of add-on support were made entirely optional with on/off toggles.

To suggest that anyone who reads this topic but doesn't vote counts as a "No" vote is of course utterly absurd. There are all sorts of reasons why players read polls without bothering to vote in them, not least in this case because they may play on console but still be interested in the results even if the poll is irrelevant to them.

I just use a handful of informational addons. I could get the same info from a website in another window, or written notes. It'd just be more annoying.

(Harvest Map, Sous Chef, Skyshards, Lost Treasure, By the Ancestors)

Don't need Multicraft anymore, since it's built in. /shrug

They are odd a lot to the game and if you lost some of the merchant addons you'd really lose a lot. It'd be very hard for new players to enter the game.

i have morrowind installed with about 60 mods, and it took alot of work to clean all of them and get through all the complicated problems that had to be fixed to run those mods and for morrowind to remain stable.
and i would NEVER play morrowind WITHOUT those mods because they just fix ALOT that bethesda could not and refused to do. and it just makes the game WAY sooooo much better including nudity and all kinds of stuff that interface and graphics ect ect that is needed in order to play morrowind.
but thats a single player game, and its ok to do things like that when im the only one playing it.
ESO is NOT like that, one of the ways to open a doors to cheats and exploits and all kinds of problems starts by allowing mods. when you are playing with other people, then the ability to mod the game Has to be Locked out and disabled.

Yes I would, can live with the idea everyone would have the same ' handicap',
But addons can give specific wishes a quality of life, it might not be realistic for ZOS to adapt all of that themselves in ESO.

As an example: I play a PvP healer with a minimap on which all my team members are visible together with their roles and their health-status. Other people might have other wishes for their addons.

I use 15 different addons, and they've all stopped working at one time or another. The only ones where that really bothered me were the mini map, Advanced Filters and to a lesser extent Binder (which saves and instantly loads keybindings). With all the rest I'd just carry on without it until it was working again. So I think those are the only ones I'd really miss if addons were disabled, and I can (and have) played without them, it's just more frustrating.

Oh, Tamriel Trade Centre too. It doesn't bother me if the addon isn't working for me, but if it stopped working for everyone then the website would only list items added manually, and I'd be back to never buying anything from guild traders because it's just not worth wasting time trying to find a trader selling the items I want by pure chance.

Full list in case anyone is curious:
    Advanced Filters
Azurah (mainly to move/hide the UI)
    Binder (saves key bindings)
Craftstore (mainly to track which motifs I have unlocked)
Greymind Quickslot Bar (so I can use the extra slots for collectables, in place of a favourites function)
    Hide House Previews
    Inventory Insight
    Banker Shut Up
    Master Merchant
    Mini Map (Fyrakin's one)
    pChat
Quest Map (only turned on when I think I'm done with a zone - to see if I missed anything)
    Random Mount

That and the click-bait title which means you have to read the post to find out what on earth it's even about. I suppose at least it's a novel way of trying to ensure your poll is impossibly biased and only the answer you want can ever win, better than the usual "insult anyone who picks the other options within the text for those options" approach.

Especially since this forum doesn't track unique page views, so anyone looking at the topic more than once artificially increases the count. If the OP wanted to they could just keep clicking in and out to rack up no "votes".

Since i started the game without any addons and still loved it enough to get that feeling that you know you found a game you will be playing for a long time i know i could play it without addons too, but.. some of them are just really great, and i think that since devs play on pc mostly and use many addons we players use too, that if they would end their support to addons they would put many of their functions to the game.

Inventory Insight addon should be in the game. It shows instantly all the things on all your characters, storage chest and bank. Looking for a certain necklace? With it can see where it is instanly without the annoying logging in and out to 15 characters search. It shows all currencies on all characters, so always know how much you have combined. Logging in and out of many characters constantly searching things takes a lot of time from the actual playing time.

Kill Counter addon is fun and nice for pvp sessions data, if would have to live without i would be sad.

So for these 2 i would do a daily demanding baby temper tantrum posts on forum to get them to the game if addons would be removed, without others i could live sort of. :)

Oh heck no! If I had to manually search for lorebooks or skyshards or try to navigate without a minimap, I'd instaquit. Before I found the minimap add- on, I got lost constantly. Opening the main map every 30 seconds in a Bangkorai delve is the epitome of no fun.

I lean to "no" but I imagine I'd still play now and then, though likely even less frequently than I do now, unless they put all the QoL add ons in game that I use. Ok, maybe not -all- of them. But my most handy ones? Like Advanced Filters to really sort out my inventory panel, or my (Harvens, I think) minimap so I don't get lost, or my Wykkyd info bar that lets me see a ton of data about my character's status at a glance such as open bag space, gold, horse feed timer, etc? Those are just about as vital as the Crafting bag. And many others are so useful I'd rue losing them, such as the one that makes sure keybinds I set on my main are the default keybinds for any new alt.
