✭✭✭✭2.5 days, averaged over the last 4 months, since it's about 400K/day. Most of it derived directly or indirectly from crafting writs. I had 15 characters doing then every day for that period. Now I've increased the number to 18, all being maxed out crafters (~1/3 chance for gold materials from each writ). Considering that I've started selling the new jewelry master writs, which are actually viable, for about 120-130 gold/voucher, 500K/day is probably closer of what I'm doing ATM. \I'm with you on this one. Gone are the days of 100-120k per hour. A good hour today gets you maybe 70k. 200k runs were never a thing, at least on PC.
Yerp, 70-100k is a good mat gathering yield, and what's more, they aren't doing 200k an hour farming telvar either unless they have their own instance all to themselves, was an exaggeration from the start. Nor is anyone making a million an hour on any kind of repeatable, sustained basis farming motifs.

Thorvik_Tyrson✭✭✭Doing the daily crafting writs on 18 characters, 3 are max level, the rest are around class level 20. I'm making around 55K per day right now. So like several others in this thread have said. It takes around 2 weeks of daily crafting writs on 18 characters to make that 1 million gold.0

✭For perspective: in a couple months of "normal" gameplay - mostly PvP and some PvE questing, with relatively little PvE farming - I've earned a total of about 2-3 million gold, of which about half I'd already spent by now.
FWIW, I haven't been selling anything of value through guild traders, either. Only earned a couple thousand gold that way.
I did, however, sell off a bunch of items (gear, mostly) to fellow PvPers

xeha_arwen11✭✭✭✭Back when the game had more people in it, I could make a million in a couple of days easily, but nowadays the market is in the worst shape due to massive amounts of bots finally taking their toll, extreme underselling and lowering of prices because of the amount of bots raking in materials, and lack of people. Currently, I make about a million every 2 weeks because I've lost my motivation. That and the fact that ZOS makes their furnishing and other types of drops so rare so that people will spend real money to get them instead of wasting months of their life trying to find some of the rarer ones. The greed, bots, and certain things going on in PS4 NA (you know) has really ripped the fun out.0 -
xmaveri✭✭✭I'm on Xbox so I feel it's more difficult but just flipping items from guild traders I'll make 100-200k a day. I currently have enough items in my 5 guilds to be Worth about 6M, im building a temple house on sugar moon that's quite costly or I would be easily at 10M. I just recently discovered a item you can buy for 1k each in chat and sell for 5k in guild traders so hopefully will speed things up!0 -
