My best week was near 2 million across my 4 trade guilds. I was off work that week and it was Homestead launch week when all the new shiny stuff was overpriced. Same thing happened when the DLC dropped that introduced the Alliance Motifs. I sold Cyrodiil treasure maps for 20k a pop that week after buying them up for 2-4k in previous weeks.

Making gold is easy keeping it is another story lol

This so much. I raised up to 1 million so I can buy the Hunding's Palatial Hall and emptied my bank.
Then I raised another mil to furnish it.
Now... I have a nice place with lots of furnishings but an empty bank account.

    ugh.

Going from zero to a million in one day.. seems kind of .. crazy.

Depends could be a really high master rit or some other really expensive item like a motif

Gold is really easy to make BUT the more you have the easier it becomes.

I have brought all 3 manors to get the Countess title, however the buying of the manors was the cheap bit......

The furnishing is what eats the gold!! Too easily tempted by "shineys" >:)

Those "shineys" being recipes......... I'm not buying pre-made furnishings except for achievement ones, definitely no crown store stuff. All manors brought unfurnished with gold. :)

I still have multiple millions in the bank but I'm having to be strict with myself to not go below a certain amount.

Why? because with the amount that I'm making myself stay above I know at any point I can restore my previous wealth. :)

    When people say to me........
"You're going to regret that in the morning"
I sleep until midday cos I'm a problem solver!

2-3 days. Playing only a few hours every night. If no job and can play during day then can do 1-2 days. Would be 1 day but it takes time for sales in guild store.i made 1.8m last week which is a new record for me. Spent 780k on a house and 1million on decorations including 2 test dummies

need the gold if you want to buy and improve to gold several different armour sets. Also need it if you want to buy a big estate or manor and fill it.

Well let's see... I PvP in Azura's for all of my play time. If I win a campaign I think I can get 50k gold, and this campaign is a monthly one so... 20 months of consecutive wins should do it.

But, we are forgetting that I have to spend quite a lot on potions cuz columbine ain't cheap, and I periodically try out new sets which cost usually around 30k per... oh, and my faction is losing this campaign this time around.

I will never have 1 million gold, thus I will never participate in housing (which is a darn shame, I was looking forward to it). How do you like that, huh? PvP rewards feel like an underfunded-since-inception relief agency that is listed to be cut in a potential govt spending bill. But nah... it's not like we need the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, or anything. Can't have people listening to classical music on the radio!

I'm not bitter about this or anything. I'm also not using this unrelated topic to channel any bitterness about real-life events. Nope.

This is where the Crafting Bag(ESO plus) comes into play here. You can loot essentially every mat there is, as much as you want. And with this comes mass farming abilities, not just for one mat, but for all.

Step 1. Put CP into faster resource farming, take a few days off and join a few trader guilds
Step 2. Farm every thing(from baskets to crates to nodes) all day.
Step 3. The next day do it again... All day of just farming everything.
Step 4. Sell it all at your guild traders at under cut prices. (sell in stacks for common mats)
Step 5. The next day go back to work, come home after and check your in game mail. Profit will be pouring in.

You'll easily have over a million in mats to sell.. Not to mention the countless amount of set pieces and blue prints you've managed to pick up along the way.

This, to me, would be boring af and defeat the purpose of the game (for me). Then again, a friend's 5 year old plays his character sometimes, because she likes opening chests.

I generate much more gold than I'm able to spend. On 14th January I had 12.1M gold. I have decided to buy and farm all missing motif pages and food/drink recipes on my main character before Homestead went live in order to maximize the chances for Master Crafting writs - 65 completed for a total of about 500 vouchers thusfar. I completed my last motif book, Akaviri, on 24th January, having exactly 10M in bank. I think I've spent about 2.7-2.8M gold buying those motifs and recipes, but generated about 7-800K from selling motifs that I already had and doing my usual game stuff during those 10 days. On 24th February I was at 12M again, and as of today I have 14.3M in bank. And gold just keeps coming. In a few weeks I will start doing the crafting writs on my 4th character in addition to the 3 I already use so that will generate even more income. If I look in my trade guilds' standings I'm in position 100-200 out of 500 traders so there are actually many people who make way more gold than I do. Making huge amounts of gold in this game is pretty easy.

Use all that AP to sell Akaviri Motifs. You'll get some cash flow going.

But yah, PvP AP was suppose to be the go-to currency for PvP'ers, but most don't even use the PvP sets.

All depends on RNG. If you have a crafter, you could make that in a couple of master writs, so the time it would take you to do those dailies. Farming too. Who knows, you could get a sharp spinners sword straight off the bat and gold it and that's you just under half way there.

I make almost all my gold from buying Kutas for 4k and selling truly superb magic glyphs at 10k a pop. They sell like hot cakes on the PS4. As that example shows you, it's sometimes better to actually spend your gold to make even more gold. No idea why people just don't lvl up enchanting and rather than sell kutas, sell glyphs because the other runes needed are both easy to find or very cheap to buy. Granted, if everyone were to do that, no one would need to buy and I'd make no gold. :p

Last night I played from 6:30pm to 10:30pm

Gold made from killing people: 7k
    Modif from trial: 10k

It would take me a few years to make a million gold.

    Yeah, it is truth.
Gold is not made by playing the story. Gold is made by farming, trading, selling, and group-grinding dungeons/PvP. Read the posts. Players report they make gold through these measures. No one has said, "I played the story line and made a million gold in a week. No one to this point.
