Vampire Skill Tree Bugged

    I tried feeding and then waiting for my stage to go back to stage 4. And while it did allow my abilities and Ultimate to be affected by cost reduction as soon as I loaded into another area like a dungeon or zone it reverted to stage one cost.

    Ultimate cost and tooltips bug when you go to a loading screen (and not the small houses). Not randomly, not on death (like I used to think, death and release to shrine sometimes causes loading screen so that's why it was on the list).

    It's also not about stage 4 (any stage has the same problem), loading screen=revert to stage 1cost until feeding or changing stage.

    All this talk about Drain skill not going of, if the target is not CC'd, CC-able, in range, still alive and not lagging out and you have your corsairs on it it goes off every time from what I can tell. If there's moving or lagging or the mob is small-ish (wisps) getting it targeted is annoying so yea it "misses". Can't speak for pvp (where you double the players double the lag etc). ALL THIS FOR INVIGORATING Drain and the unmorphed version.

    Any time the mob dies from something else other than the drain ticks while you drain it you get animation stuck. (So critters in 1 hit, mobs that die from Mage's Fury for me, aka every single one.)

    Poison mist seems to also have sound effects bugged + it ticks between 3 to 5 times only.

    Dark stalker has a vague tooltip and stops working ... haven't exactly tested if its from dying or loading screens. Not sure if the stealth speed should work during the day but it does unless it bugs, also not sure if it should work in every cave you are in since no light or does it have to be night outside.

    The quest that you can get being a vampire from the guy that started the vampirism quest is probably there because you probably need it to get cured (to talk to priest of Arkay). Not sure about that, pretty sure the "vampirism" active effect should stay on you though.

    The really sad part is they know how to fix this (probably, unless ultimate are coded very differently), since the fixed it in the last 2 beta patches for the magicka cost reduction spells.Which reminds me: if you have less magicka than cost for stage 1 for any vampire skill and you are at stage 4 (NOT BUGED, before any loading screens) you still CAN'T cast any skill which gets you killed since no drain. That's maybe not so bad but ultimate with Devouring Swarm (life drain) from being 50 (15% less from Breton passive) to being 170 cost is the difference between not dying to mobs packs, ever, to being any other non-vampire player who has to "deal with it" except you got less action bar slots and a different mindset for approaching the fight which means you have a problem.

    The Improved Health Regeneration Passive also does nothing.

    I hope this maintenance on tuesday is a patch and that it contains fixes for these. Since I know I and a few others have been reporting these issues daily.

    I'm honestly starting to think they have like 10 people actually working at ZOS now. The bugs pre and post-launch just keep adding up, beyond any 'normal' expectations.

    I was very much looking forward to vamping around, but it's disheartening to hear the tree's in this state. Godspeed with getting the complaint answered and i've bumped the bank thread enough times today, giving one to y'all.

    Please fix this issues ASAP, passive health regeneration is not working properly, undeath doesn't tick always, dark stalker is broken, you lose passive when you die and only fix is relog which is sometimes hard to do (cyrodiil), essence drain bugs up on use and animation lags, poison mist doesn't tick as many times as it should , feeding mechanics are broken in a way that you don't always get reduction in magicka costs for using vampire abilities, bat swarm is not influenced by magicka reduction in vampire stages 2-4........ Please Zenimax stop ignoring this issue and fix vampires and werewolfs. Thanks

    Oh and poison mist form sound is broken...... There is no sound available when using that ability.

    I see no fixes in patch notes (unless it's a server side thing and they didn't bother putting in in, but probably not)...sooooo...bump...

    ...back to being bugged and dying while trying to solo public dungeons because of ultimate cost reduction (for 1 more week!?).

    not to mention that the WW is broken as hell too...and he is even weaker, because none of his passives work without the transform equipped...
    they should really do something, and that fast...otherwise there will be a lot of people who jsut ignore these possibilitys because they are broken...and as soon as they get fixed, the problems with scammers will be even higher...

    Just made a topic about the vampire starter quest still being available for vampires who have already completed it.
    Had issues since forever with Drain Essence. Last night I literally spammed the key over 10 times to get it to trigger...
    Absolutely disappointed and beyond annoyed that NOTHING has been fixed in regards to vampires. Only reason i'm playing as a Nightblade was for the Vampire skills and passives and i'm very quickly losing interesting in both a broken class and broken Vampirism.

    Did you hear back from Customer Support at all??

    I'm still trying to become a vampire without paying, but after reading this I might not bother as it seems the entire vamp/wolf tree's are ridden with bugs and or not working as intended at all.

    I'm still trying to become a vampire without paying, but after reading this I might not bother as it seems the entire vamp/wolf tree's are ridden with bugs and or not working as intended at all.
    Hold off for a bit...maybe a month or two given ZOS' track record with fixing things from alpha/beta...
    Besides, vamp spawns have been broken for a week...

    Good to see that bug reports and feedback from beta went into the rubbish.

    This is definitely what keeps me from going into Cyrodiil at the moment. But I'm sure if we keep awareness up of these issues then we're going to get some fixes in the near future!

    Well looks like they are getting spammed again this week with my vampire bugs. Not even any class ability changes. With all the issues in this game that patch note is pathetic

    Yes I've noticed this as well. The "Undeath" passive does not seem to be doing anything either.

    So we have three broken passives and one broken activate ability. Exactly 50% of the class is broken. Unacceptable number if you ask me.

    It's maybe a sad truth, but is the fact that the console release is just around the corner, effecting the bug splatting here. Is there a completely different team for that or are they juggling resources. Just a thought.

    Yeah like none of the passives are working. Poison mist not hitting the correct amount of times. And bugged vampire stage reduction if you zone all the cost revert to stage 1

    Yup having the same issue with bat swarm. No reduced cost for it. Higher stage vamp is worthless atm with this broke.

    I never had any night/daytime related issues or it randomly go on and off, but you do lose the movement speed effect after you die untill you either relog or change zone.

    just to be sure.. is it only a tooltip problem or do the vamp skills cost the same mana like in stage 1?

    cause i have the feeling its not a tooltip problem..

    also this drain essence problem really annoys me either. why should i wait until the enemy is out of cc? this is nonsense. also why cant i use it against bosses? just turn off the stun and its fine.

    As long as you have more magicka than what the skill costs at stage one then yes it will cast and it will cast with the cost for whatever stage you are at (and it's a tooltip thing only). Ultimate is the exception (you get loading screen back to stage 1 cost forever/until feed) and the biggest disadvantage out of all vampire bugs. If they just fix that I could live with all other bugs for months (even if we shouldn't have to).

    two questions:
    Undeath passive: does it work? there is absolutely no indicator if it triggers or not.
    if it works, has it intelligent calculations? for example if i get hit while having 51% health, how does the mitigation work then? does it remove the 1% of my health and mitigates the rest of the incomming damage, or does it just ignore it and i will get hit with the full amount of damage?
    Unnatural resistance: since there is that feeding bug...does it affect the vampire stages?

    I have a feeling, given the speed or lack thereof with their bug fixing, that these vamp issues will be around a long time. There are so many problems with this game currently, it will be a while before these things are fixed. Right now the most annoying thing for me is when I die I lose my stealth speed bonus, so annoying.

    I would just give up vamp all together, but I've heard that getting rid of vampirism is bugged too. You just lose all the skill points you spent in that tree, just gone. I am not sure if that's intended??

    Don't hold your breath. They can't even get the servers running stable, let alone fixing quests from bugging out.
