Got them with the trial. Free things are always good. Maybe one day my char will be in need of violet horse.

Thank you very much. Doesn't quite make up for making the other purple horse a Radiant Apex, but it's still very nice.

I don't have Twitch Prime, I don't even know what it is, so I don't care about this promotion. I don't even care about the free crates for watching people play ESO. I only use Twitch for watching ESO Live and other gaming events like E3.
While this Twitch Prime ESO promotion is PC/Mac only, we are making progress on bringing these types of promotions to our console players in the future. Stay tuned for details.

I feel like they said something similar last year. I want some crates.

I was wondering when ESO were gonna get in on the whole Twitch Prime loot thing. I’m glad they finally have. Hopefully this is the start of many nice shiny things.

More cool stuff locked behind a paid subscription to Twitch Prime? Shameful. :/

Yea. I don't orfer from Amazon at all. So prime is totally useless to me. Feels bad man. They kinda force us gamers to get it just for the goodies that literally have nothing to do with Amazon.
I still won't get Amazon prime. So I am automatically locked out of alot of things. Since they monopolized on those rewards etc.

ZOS is doing you a favour by pushing you towards Prime. It's one of the best deals out there.

Not only do you get 1-2 day shipping on everything from Amazon and access to Prime Video (which has some fantastic original programming these days), you also get a ton of free *** in games. They recently gave out a full year of Nintendo Switch Online (worth $20 USD).

I don't usually shill for companies, but Amazon Prime is a life changer.

I have to agree, Amazon Prime is definitely worth it for the next day delivery and Prime Video alone. They have some amazing shows these days, The Boys, Good Omens, Preacher, Marvellous Ms Maisel and The Expanse to name but a few. Plus the new Lord of the Rings series has been announced to be Prime.

I see Twitch Prime as a bonus, with 4 or 5 games a month and other extras, it’s kinda a no brainer for me.

    Yeah.

I like the look of the psijic mounts and pets. I think they're in the magic bling sweet spot which a great many ESO mounts overshoot. I'm happy to have the blue ones from the Summerset event.

If I hadn't previously claimed a prime trial for something else I might have for this.

While $7 is relatively cheap for an ESO mount considering the price tags on some others, I feel like I should pass on this one. I have absolutely no use for prime otherwise and don't want to be subbing to it for stuff like this.

Also on the plus side, passing on this offer will make it easier to pass on all future ones.

This has probably already been asked, but do I need a credit card to activate twitch prime?
I linked my Amazon Prime account to my Twitch account, but I'm not able to complete the process since Twitch Prime states my credit card data is wrong. I have no credit card connected to my Amazon Prime account at all though (in my country it's not as common to use a credit card for everything as in the US).

    Yes.

I had claimed the trial previously and can confirm that it requires you to submit your credit card details and address.

Also unlike many other services there doesn't seem to be an option to disallow them to keep those details or for you to delete them.

Twitch Prime access is included with your Amazon Prime subscription. If you already had a Twitch account from before, you would just link it to you Amazon account and it would become a Prime account.

Sadly, this doesn't work for me. I was indeed able to link my Amazon Prime account to my Twitch account - logging into Twitch Prime shows my Twitch name as well as my real name (which they must have gotten from my Amazon account).
I can't claim the mount and pet though, it asks me to "Continue Sign-Up". Klicking this button let's me choose my country... after that, I get a looooong loading screen, and then there's the failure message that my credit card data is wrong.

Oh, I thought you had an active Amazon Prime subscription. If it's just the trial, you might need to give them your credit card.

I signed up for the trial today and yes, they do request credit card info for the free amazon trial. You can acquire the mount and pet even with the free trial and I'd imagine you can cancel it after the goodies are in your hands if you were to want to do that.

Oh, strange then. It looks like they didn't account for alternate payment methods on their other services (I think you can only link a credit card in North America). I'd give Amazon support a call to see if there is a workaround.

It took me like 8 back-and-forth verification emails, amazon logins, twitch logins, ESO logins, and repeat; but I think I finally managed... sheesh that was convoluted as hell. And I still don't know if I managed to get Prime from my Amazon Prime or if they'll bill me separately because I failed to link properly :grimace:

Is there any way to check if I'm a Twitch Prime member that gets billed, if I'm an Amazon Prime member that got Twitch for free through linking, or if I'm on a free Twitch Prime trial but will be billed after the month is over?

Not sure if it was even worth it tbh, the mount and pet look kinda trippy and out of place (yes I know many Crown Store mounts are equally silly-looking and immersion-breaking and I don't use those either).

If you have an Amazon Prime account for your country that also includes Twitch Prime, you should be able to link that account to Twitch and have Twitch Prime access. That account for your country won't give you Amazon Prime or Prime video access on the US Amazon site, you only have access that's regional for your country , but you shouldn't need a US Amazon Prime to claim this. I know because my Twitch Prime came from Amazon Prime Singapore.

I don't have prime, but to be honest, I would never in a million years use these things, they aren't attractive to me, so I don't really care to get it :D
