Between either all the changes in this patch, or none at all keeping the game the way is currently is on live, which would it be?

I'm not in 100% agreement with 100% of the changes, but on the whole I think it's positive...at least in theory. If nothing else, the improvements to Entropy are fantastic. The spell is finally worthwhile outside of a short duration Major Sorcery, and is more in line with Stamina options for Major Brutality.

This patch is like picking up a vase, drop it on the floor, then glue the pieces together and say it looks better than before.

I guess that is ZOS's take on "patching" the game up.

Personally, i love all the changes in this patch. The only nerf that really affects me is pirate skeleton, and i probably wont need that anymore anyway.

Dont ride the meta, no nerfs will touch you.

not as simple as that, there are some much needed adjustments to the game coming most of which are for the betterment of the overall performance, but there are a few changes that are just crazy.

It is definitely far from being that simple, but I just wanted to see what people would say if they only had to pick one!

Imo this patch is a pile of stinky, warm poop (ult cast time, *** and unnecessary dots and hots changes that create power creeps, class skills changes that nobody ever asked for, etc) with some cherries on top (better shuffle, rr/mutagen ain't total poop anymore, even if op, nerfs to snb, nerf to heavy op sets, etc). I'd rather have the uber tank meta we are in in live rather than whatever this dot meta will bring

    Only three changes bother me

    - ult cast times, lol, why would you even...
    - healing
    - reverberating bash nerf

The rest I adapt and do better, just like every other patch.

I think most people will adapt, but adapting when you play multiple characters takes time, and can make one feel like the changes in this patch was made just to preoccupy and distract us away from the real issues this game has.

I always love shake ups like this. Especially when it comes to drastic shifts in the meta. The increase strength in DoTs has me excited to see what people will create and how others will defend against it. I'm very curious to see how heavy armor will be used among stamina builds, and the restoration staff's usefulness in PvP.

It's going to be super interesting.

it's never really a question of "are you able to adapt?" but more "are you still having fun?." homogenization, is what this is, and no it's not fun. i'm cutting way to many class skills for guild/misc skills that everyone has access too because they are objectively better than my class skills, it's not by choice.

also really hate the cast time on ultimates, don't like cast times don't want cast times. Probably just gonna sit this patch out.

EDIT: personally i really don't like that they nerfed skills for performance...... i don't think that's a good way going forward.

My main has been a stam DK MA DW/2h build for over a year now couple years maybe. I Mixed in different 5 piece sets to keep me interested. Got hit in a lot of places, but my alt characters identity got hit harder. Both my melee stams had the same buffs/debuffs but had them in very different ways. One had thurvokuun, cyrodiil's ward, old cleave (heroism +dot), the other used a shield and got major defile, maim, heroism from that with pirate skeleton, and poison for minor defile. I feel like i'm pushed into a major defile 5 piece if i still want it and out of 1h+shield, and away from pirate skele and both my stam dk and stam templar get melded together for what i feel is the strongest gear choice for what i like, lots of majors and minors.

ps: dont get any nerf ideas, i end up being average.

The *way* the healing changes have been implemented leave me no choice but to vote against the entire patch.

I would have been fine with regular nerfs (layered or multi heals cost more each successive cast or were less effective, etc) or broad, sweeping changes that made healing MORE fun and dynamic, not less, even if I had to re-grind for new gear on all three healers.

We got neither of those things, causing this to be the least anticipated patch for me in the entire history of the game. Friends in game who always roll with the punches are talking about skipping this patch so I'll have less people to play with, too, which is the point of an MMO.

Not looking forward to the ultimate cast times either. Or the Rapid Maneuver change-- No reason for it besides fake "game logic consistency" which is not a good reason.

I'm just gonna go ahead and tell you to no even waste your time worrying about that.

ZOS will just see this poll result and they'll say that it's all "an overreaction of the playerbase and that they know what they're doing", which makes you question why do they even have a feedback section in the first place...

In their mind, they're always right and the players (the actual people that plays their damn game) are wrong.
