What's easier to level, a skill line or a Whole New FRIGGIN CLASS??? Latter comes with crafting, riding, and ALL the skyshards and guilds (though soon you can pay for all that)Make bard a class and not a skill line. Between the fighter, mages, psijiic and undaunted there are already too many skill lines to level.
Exactly. When are we getting a new guild skill line? Bard’s College was created around the time setting of ESO. I think it would be a great addition if done correctly.
As long as it comes with vendors refusing to deal with you, city guards casing you our of population centers, and even the outlaw refugee barring your entry... sure.Finedaible wrote: »I would like the idea of an Afflicted skill-line though. Definitely a possibilitey, even tho the imperials are more or less somewhat antagonistic to our player characters half the time...Some other potential guilds/skill lines: The Blades,
...too dunmer-specific, and way too similar to the dark brotherhood.morag tong,
That is one I would like to see!daedric prince/tribunal(could all be different skill lines per prince, or even just one like almalexia)

Come on. Have you no idea how disease-carriers were treated in medieval-ish societies? Even with magical healing they would all be like "go get cured first, then come back..." and thus the nurgling idea is not a goos one outside the eye of terror (not even inside, following Nurgle is just... icky. There are better ones! Hail Slaanesh - the chaos god of FUN!)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDnJ8JlPieU To be fair, the job done on the bards in Summerset has been pretty outstanding. I just sat and watched one for half an hour one night. The fingers all work independently, the mouth synced well with the words. I was amazed at all of the little details that went into the performance that most people just run by and never see.
The crowds around some are bad (clapping and cheering), but there is a little bar area between the stables and the main market of Alinor that sits up in an alcove and has chairs that you can sit in and just enjoy the music.
I'm ok if we the players never get a skill line, but if the bards keep increasing their skills as in-game performers, I am going to want some more quality venues, and quite likely a way to purchase one in the Crown Store. There are just some areas of large houses that a bard would enhance nicely to set a better mood.
