Cast times on ultimates should not go live

    Out of all the available cheese in this game- using extra mechanical skill available to every player is pretty low on the list.

    And yet only a few ultimates were singled out for the cast time, wonder why that is...? Hmmm

    Yep and lag is going to make sure those are seldom every used - no matter what your opinion about them might be or whose doing what.

    Now no one's going to be doing much of anything. Hope some ppl are happy.

    I mean, I understand some of the frustration regarding these. Like I told someone else, I've seen times when ppl are anim canceling so fast 2x or something 3x or even 4x DBs will go off and you never see the animation.

    However, now after this the lag will prevent even regular ppl *gasp* even noobs from using them properly. The anim will just get stuck same as when I try to bolt sometimes and just die.

    today i had many fights in noncp cyrodiil and battlegrounds.
    with stamina nightblade, stamina templar, stamina dk.
    each one 50-100k ap in campagn to get Tier for recievening at the end Tranmute geode, than in battlegrounds to get reward of the day + testing few builds for each character.

    And, about 50% of all my downbreakers, onslaughts, incapacitating and even corrosive armor or remembrance worked with delay like 2+ seconds.
    I could only dream of cancel animation for them.
    Worst case was when I landed downbreaker like in 20 meters from the target instead of right at he's head at the moment when i activated it...

    And that was in battleground, which in general have no such huge problems with ping as cyrodiil.
    Average cyrodiil ping was ~130.
    Battlegrounds - ~ stable 80.
    I had good fps like never less than 30-40. Indicated with game UI one.

    But...and now Ultimates going to have cast time in addition...So it will be 2+ seconds and cast time at the top...
    what i can say, Zenimax as often instead of cure the problems, again trying now to hide or reduce symptoms, but it will be even worse at the end with such politics

    All I do in this game is pvp pretty much and I don't want cast times on ultimates.

    Notice how it's all offensive ults too, can pop a Resto Ult no problem but want to actually try kill someone in this *** tank meta? Nahhh

    Historically whenever Zeni touches animations it makes the game worse.

    Lest we forget when shields had cast times and the animation made the character look like he was taking a dump. Lest we forgot when NB bow had an delay and it was faster to CC break dodge roll than for the arrow to connect.

    I suspect it's just a clumsy crutch introduced because ZOS have miserably failed at syncing animation with cast time, they even indirectly mentioned something like that. Else it'd been sufficient to just introduce a travel time with separate telegraphs and animations - which would provide even more counterplay (though I'm sure it wasn't on their mind) and would still allow for fluid weaving. Cast time on incap robs it of a lot of fun in PvE rotations.

    another set of notes out I think the last one since release is the 12th and this issue is never even discussed by ZOS... They had there minds made up on this issue before the pts even dropped what a joke... Just turn it into turn based combat and get it over with.. Heaven forbid a skilled player out performs and wins a fight against a bunch of bad zerglings every now and then.. When there is no one left in pvp for the causal Zergling you people cater to to zerg down and they all leave to you can look back at alliance lock and this horrible decision as the beginning of the end..

    Yep. In cp pvp, anyone can choose to be unkillable with little to no pvp experience or skill. Now zenimax has gone ahead and deleted the majority of instant damage burst ults to cater to players that SOMEHOW CANT FIGURE OUT THE COUNTERPLAY to these ults even while being carried by their cp and builds.

    Its pathetic. *** this game.
