Seventh Legion:
This item set can now only be activated from casting an ability that increases your Resistances, instead of anytime your Resistances increase. This means that things such as passives, potions, or poisons can no longer trigger this effect.
This pretty much renders the set 100% useless to Stamblades. The only way to proc it would be to use 5 heavy and Immovable, which was just made even more useless than it was before. Nobody wants to make themselves 65% slower.
Do us all a favor and revert that change please.

RIP my heavy stamblade build (7th, BP, Bloodspawn). Guess I'll just run Hunding's instead? Boring, but about the only choice left.

Armor master is not an ability, so it shouldn't proc it.
Nightblades rejoice.
I went on pts and tested it.
You can use Mirage and procc seventh legion with that.
Only stamsorc gets snipped.
You said elude. Elude is the medium armor skill.
Mirage is next to useless for a stamblade. Slotting that just to proc a set is a waste. Not only that, but it's also pretty expensive, and the cost of shade was just increased from 2700 to 4k. There's no room to be slotting more magicka abilities, especially one that does next to nothing for you.

Cry more. You have a tool in your class' toolkit to address your issue and refuse to use it. Your problem is a self-made one. Adjust your build or drop the set.

Actually the problem arises from stamblades performing well. The opponents they defeat, come to the forums and ask for "changes." The devs then cater to them. Clearly, making a post is the way to go.
To simply ask that nightblades major ward/resolve skills activate the set is quite sensible. Every other class does it.
The inner nerd expression "cry more" should be reserved for those asking for nerfs. But clearly those that desire nerfs enjoy changes like these.

Obviously zos deems the bonus too powerful to be activated by a passive.
As @Derra mentioned you can still use this set via mirage, but I don't think it's worth it. This set does synergize quite well with Stam sorcs though.
To be fair, stamblades shouldn't be able to proc it passively.

At the expense of a high amount of magicka, so if you want to use 7th you will have a lot less resources for cloak heals, shade, and fear... and the point of running heavy on stamblade is for the heals...
Im not disagreeing with you but i dont use hurricane for the dmg, it an armor/speed buff. For a dizzy swing build your talking about losing 2-3k dmg over 5 secs. If your a dot build then oooph...As @Derra mentioned you can still use this set via mirage, but I don't think it's worth it. This set does synergize quite well with Stam sorcs though.

No. It doesn't synergize with stamsorc. From above post...
"Hurricane is a 15 second buff with the majority of the skills damage being between 10-15 seconds into the ability. 7th has a 10 second duration. The new 7th is not viable for stamsorcs if you want hurricane to do any damage."
