Only way the game is playable right now is; get all your people on vent, and operate like that. Give up on buying/banking/doing anything that requires you to do ANYTHING other than kill npc.

Then yah, maybe it 'isnt broken:)

Like I said in another thread recently.

Zones, dungeons, quests, Cyrodiil... all of these things are working.

I'm sorry you've got bank issues and are so bothered by laggy chat.

I hope everything is fixed for you ASAP.

When you pay my sub you can tell me how to play. I enjoy crafting part of this game. Which means having lots of different mats on hand. The banking being broken effects my game play. Other parts that are broken don't have much effect on my game. I understand that everyone plays differently. Why don't you try and see something outside of your little world.

Then you get broken quests with broken spawns. Just saying bro! Though they have been fixing some of those. I guess 'maybe' is the right word.

Yeah this game has a lot of bugs that they are working on and trying to fix but This is probably one of the least buggy MMO launches I've ever been a part of. I know that its frustrating when you have a bug that hinders your advancement but any time that this has happened to me on this game I have just gone and worked on something else and came back to it once the problem had been resolved. As we speak the entire guild system is down, but I'm just going to keep on playing and just not use the guild system till its fixed. Which will probably be in a few hours.

    This is hilarious.

You're not entitled to a completely unhindered gameplay experience. Its in the terms of service you signed, in fact, that Zenimax does not guarantee you will be able to play at any particular time of day.

This is true of all MMOs.

And in comparison to 99.999% of MMO launches, ESO's launch has been outstanding.

Zoning is not working. Attempting to fast travel between wayshrines and transitus stones causes very long load times (usually between 10 - 30 minutes).

Cyrodiil is not working. It typically takes 30 minutes to log in after getting DC'd while trying to use a transitus stone. It took 30 minutes before the server told us that one of our scrolls was taken. By the time we found out, it was already in their keep. The map is buggy. The compass is buggy. Grouping is bugged and causes lag (especially on joins/drops) and frequent DCs.

Quests are not working. While this has been recognized by ZOS as "in progress" to be fixed, there are a lot of quests that are bugged.

I don't do dungeons as I'm a PvP player but I'm happy to hear that one out of the four you mentioned are working.

I don't get the broken bank system. I have never, beta, early access, yet. HAD ANY broken bank even with multiple characters on multiple factions. None of my friends have had that as well. Frankly I haven't even heard of it. If you're having that issue you need to talk to support since it seems to be a very rare issues.

As for chat, it works great for me and always had. Now for some people it maybe having trouble. I wonder what their computer builds are and what their internet speed is. I can see some problems caused by the servers having too many people. I see some things get broken, caused by load and other issues. That is expected in any game on release. Blizzard taking 3 times longer has never been able to have a perfect launch. NO game ever in the history of gaming has ever had a perfect launch for everyone. Even basic games have issues with someone.

That being said if you're having dramatic issues I recommend contacting support. Maybe shutting your account down and having you remaining days ready for later. In 2-3 months start up again and a lot of these issues will be resolved.

I have been in many many many MMOs, Alpha, Betas, Launches. ESO is in the top 3 of best most stable launches. Hell COD, and the many that followed, based on the same engine with little differences and basic gameplay had issue. Titanfall which is much much much more basic than ESO has and still has issues. I get your problems and you have a right to talk about them. I recommend for you to wait a couple of months.

What isnt broken? Answer me that. The group system; broken. Mail system; broken. Bank system; broken. PVP system AND CHAT SYSTEM broken.

If communicating with others and playing with them is the point; then the entire game is broken. Chat, mail, bank, guild, etc etc... ALL have problems to the point of near nonfunctionality.

I've run literally dozens of dungeons without issue.

I'm constantly selling items through chat and sending them through the mail system.

My bank has zero issues whatsoever (although I am aware that others aren't so luck in this regard, and I hope their bank issues get fixed ASAP).

Chat is laggy because of server stress. Big f'ing deal.

Guild system works just fine. If you guild 'disappeared' then wait a couple minutes and it will show up. Again... Big f'ing deal.

Well since you aren't having issues no one else is right?

    Big F'ing deal

    rofl....*facepalm*

Perhaps you missed the part where I acknowledged issues that other people are having and wished them a speedy fix. It's okay, reading comprehension is hard for some people.

Yet still maganged to say "Big F'ing Deal".....

I think you missed the part where that is uncalled for and reducing the major problems others have because you aren't having them just makes you look like a tool.

I never belittled the major issues. I sympathized and wished a speedy fix.

However, laggy chat is a sarcastic 'big f'ing deal' IMO.

It's just like Rift with patch 2.6 and the couple weeks it took to fix the social features being turned off then on then off then on....

Quick get Trion on the phone they have the solution!

Trion did a much, much better job of actually 1) Acknowledging that needed to be fixed, 2) Letting players know what was going on, 3) Giving an ETA for downtimes, instead of; 'We're working on this issue, and we'll get back to you SOON" - 10 hours later: "We're posting to give you an update when we should have given you an update hours ago, oh by the way, we still don't have an ETA, but we're working on it." Even though the chat issue with 2.6 was a big issue, they had infinitely better customer support, and knew how to let their customers know what was going on, and what they were doing about it! Yes, it took several days to fix, but the glitches in this game have been going on for weeks now, and ESO support still cannot give its paying customers actual information. It's not the bugs that tick me off - it's the way they respond to them. They could learn a lot from Trion.

I personally dont need them sitting here handholding people on the forums. Just work on the problem and get it fixed. I dont need an update every hour or whatever. Its quite obvious they know there is a problem. Its also quite obvious they are working on a solution. Most people dont spend all day trying to login a game thats obviously broken right now. I logged out earlier and will login maybe tomorrow or the next day. I wont die.

Cant chat, cant mail, cant do guild, cant bank, cant pvp, cant zone.

At this point you are pissing against the wind son, by even trying to justify this you make yourself invalid.

Chat is lagging, it's not broken.

Guild functionality is working, it just takes a few minutes after logging in for the pane to appear.

Banking is a legitimate concern, but the game does not revolve around it, therefore I don't consider that something worthy of deeming the game unplayable for. I do hope that it gets fixed, however.

PvP is working fine, but again, chat is lagging therefore communication suffers.

Zoning just takes a couple minutes because of the server stress.

Again, this isn't me saying 'haha I'm not having problems so nobody else is', this is me recognizing that most aspects of the game are completely unaffected by the server stress and a few functions are lagging.

Honestly, some features are lagging, but they're not broken nor are they rendering the game unplayable.

Its still an agreement you made and you should know what it means. There's a reason you're not legally entitled.

    Basically, stuff happens.

Its a complex thing to run an MMO. This is a massive game with some new tech to boot. Servers are going to go down. Bugs are gonna happen.

I understand that it sucks. It sucks for me too. Especially when I'm looking forward to playing after a day at work and I can't because of maintenance or something.

But it sucks for Zenimax as well. They're working hard to get things working. When issues temporarily pop up, they do their best to fix them in a timely manner. I can guarantee that. I've seen it time and time again since from them throughout the development process.

Coming on the forums to moan and complain doesn't do anyone any good. Its basically just griefing the community team.

Work with support. Be constructive in your feedback. Be patient with Zenimax.

It will go faster if you don't let yourself get all hot and bothered by video game issues anyway.

I'm a crafter, yet I don't need a bank for all my materials, I'm quite capable of managing my bag space efficiently. Banking isn't a necessity, it's a luxury. Just because the bank is not working, doesn't mean the game is unplayable.

The game does feel... broken, at the least. Chat and guild functions not working or lagging 10-15 minutes. Seems like lots of people are having bank issues; every night it feels like major components of this MMO are being disabled because they stem' working. I have been really trying to enjoy this game but the performance issues are moving beyond ridiculous IMO. If they don't get this squared away soon I am afraid that they will lose a lot of customers, which is a shame because I really want to like this game.
